I love my wii& I'm a wii addict.i bought another bowling game with the ball.I def wear the strap with the ball...afraid i'll forget& release.The ball is tricky& trying to get the hang of it.I got the wii fit plus for Christmas.I jogged 10 minutes burned 50 calories was losing both bra straps7 was all sweaty.My fit age has gone from 76 to 38 in 2 days.i got the wii resort too& tigerwood golf.Love the frisbe golf. new years resolution-do wii fit plus 30 minutes a day. I've bowled and knocked the lamp off table...hit dog in head...umm knocked beer off table. I got guitar hero& rockband for the wii too.I did mention I WAS ADDICTED!!!

Wii Fit Plus is great. I also love Wii Sports boxing - it will give you a workout too. I found some gloves that hold the remote at Big Lots and that made it even more fun. My DH and I are seniors also and we got our wii fit plus for Christmas. We really love it! I think you can actually try it at places like Walmart and Best Buy. At first I thought I wouldn't like the 'cartoon' like mii people, but it sort of makes it more fun. There is yoga, strength, aerobics, balance, and some really silly but fun things to do. You can flap your arms like a chicken and land on different posts until you land on a ship. Yes, it's silly but you are moving your arms. Another game is step aerobics with a line of other mii people. The Hoola Hoop is fun and works your waist. There is jogging through the little mii town. A punching bag game to work your arms. There is a bicycle exercise (you step as if you are on a bicycle).My favorite game is the Obstacle Course that has you running, jumping and dodging objects. And oh so much more. You can do a mix of whatever you feel like doing. I do about 30 minutes nearly every day. You will need wii fit plus, the console to play it, and a balance board. It is a fixed price of about $300, but if you shop around you may find a store offering a bonus of a gift card or something extra. It is definately a good investment. And if you have children or grandkids over, they can do the exercises also because they are so much fun. You can go to nintendo wii online and see real people including us 'more mature people' doing the exercises. Go for it! Linda Leaf

This is "Wii Fit Plus" (2009). The games are in the "Training Plus" section. There's also "Yoga" and other non-game choices. "Flying Chicken" isn't what it's called, but you have to 'flap' and 'fly' to floating platforms and then onto the deck of a ship. In one game you are a majorette, keeping step with the beat and 'catching' game pieces with the remote and nunchuk as they drop into rings. The more you score, the larger your marching band becomes. when you miss, band members disappear. The bike rides and runs really work your legs. My current 'challenge' is "The Bubble" -- you guide it chrough a waterway without 'popping' against the shoreline and floating objects. I've yet to reach the end in the time alloted. There are also disks for "Sports Resort" (2009) and "Wii Sports" (2007). DH likes the golf, basketball, and 100-pin bowling.
