Most good places were closed, so I went to Dale's, and it's the last time I'll go there.

Hamburger steak, baked plain potato, baby green limas, oatbran muffin.

Told the manager the steak was not freshly cooked. I know what a freshly cooked one looks and tastes like, had them there before, until the last 2 or 3 times.

He offered nothing, patted me on the shoulder and walked away and I paid my bill and left. THink I'll send them an email.

I'm going out for Mexican Train tonight. I think I'll just have a leftover twice baked potato and a bowl of fruit. There's some steak in there for DH.

It was snowy and blowy most of the day today; but I still put my laundry outside!

A perfect day for roast beef, mashed potatoes, carrots and onions around the roast and boiled cabbage. We just finished.

More homemade chicken noodle soup here. So good when it's cold.

Cold here in TN, did not get out of the 20's. Tonight we are having spag & meatballs. I make my own sauce so all I have to do is take some out of the freezer. Something easy but good.

I think I am going to broil a piece of salmon for me and DH and DD's will have some baked chicken breasts. I'm the only one that likes salmon. As for sides...hmmm, guess I better find something. I know what we are out of: salad and rolls. I need to go to the grocery store tomorrow.

The icemaker in our new fridge broke a month after they delivered it, we've been waiting for a backordered part for nearly 2 months. They finally decided to deliver a new fridge. . . I asked why they didn't just switch out the icemaker...."then we would have a refrigerator without an icemaker." I guess when ours makes it back it 'has' an icemaker, it just doesn't work. So anyway, they were to deliver the new fridge today, they guys showed up and asked what was wrong, I told them, they said, why don't we just switch out the icemaker? LOL!!!!! So that is what they did.....of course this was after we had emptied the fridge and freezer.

So that's a long way around of telling you that we went out for supper because I had not thought about it. So we had an errand or two to run and went to Perkins. Andy had pot roast, I had soup and a salad.

I think I would have taken the new frig. I hope nothing else goes wrong with it.

I had a Marie Callander Salisbury steak dinner tonight it was very good the meat was nice and I ould even eat the veggies.

Jasdip, I love pot roast with all the vegetables cooked around it. The leftovers make good soup, too.

Yummy, bigack! Chicken noodle's my favorite. I really like soups of all kinds.

Mary3444, now that's cold! I hope you didn't have to get out in it. I should make sauce for the freezer. I found a good brand of tomatoes that have nothing in them except tomatoes. No salt, sugar or preservatives. It would make excellent sauce.

Teresa, we love salmon. When I cleaned out the frig I found a container with leftover salmon. I had meant to make salmon patties out of it, but guess it got shoved in the back. Had to toss it. :-(

Lynn d, that didn't even make any sense to bring you a whole refrigerator. What were they thinking? I think I would've taken the new one, too. Especially since you already had the other one emptied. Hope this ice-maker works for many years!!

I would have definitely taken the new refrigerator if I had already cleaned out the other one. Chicken soup sounds good to me...Wouldn't mind that pot roast either. I wound up with a little piece of filet and half a potato and some peas. Oh, and two glasses of champagne at Mexican Train. How could you not have fun after that?
