Special thoughts for Harry!

Knew I shoulda stopped by Fresh Market, but I was too full from lunch to shop for food.

Best wishes for Harry. We are having stuffed cabbage. Trying to get rid of stuff in the freezer.

Good luck Harry. For lunch after church we stopped by Subway and picked up some foot long subs to share. Really good with lots of stuff on them. For supper I had fried eggs, toast, applesauce and hot tea. Now ready to go to bed and watch some television and then to sleep I hope. Have a great evening everyone.

Made a turkey dinner with all the trimmings. Turkey is my favourite meal.

Thanks for the good wishes. He'll be fine--it's just basal cell, which just about everybody who lives where there's lots of sun will get sooner or later. He had 3 removed this summer with plastic surgery for the one on his face so it wouldn't ruin his boyish good looks :-)

Sue we had a Subway Philly cheese steak the other night and even though we shared, we still had enough for lunch the next day. Sure was good!

Glenda, after I eat is when I like to shop for food. It's amazing how much you save on the grocery bill.

Shirley, please pass the 15-bean soup, if you don't mind. And a large bowl if it isn't too much trouble.

Georgysmom, little by little I'm getting our freezer cleared out also. It was so packed there wasn't even room for a single green bean. :-)

Pizza, carry out from East of Chicago.

We had ham and some pierogies I made and froze a while ago. Butter tarts for dessert. I'm working on clearing out the freezer too.

Made a nice dinner for a neighbor whose husband is in the hospital--a casserole of Macaroni and cheese topped with barbecued chicken; homemade applesauce, raspberry chocolate angelfood cake. Made an extra casserole for us, and added steamed mixed vegetables.

We had Anasazi Bean and Cabbage Soup with a loaf of nice semolina bread I bought at the farmer's market.

At least Harry knows what to expect, since he's had this done before. And he has a good nurse!

We had a simple dinner of pan-fried pork chops, boiled potatoes and carrots. Easy and good.

JASDIP!!! It's you!!!! I'm so glad to see you back. Yippee! We've all missed you.

Enjoyingspring, I wish I was standing in your kitchen, just to take in all the wonderful smells. You sure are ambitious!

Schoolhouse, we're having pizza, too. Hope yours turns out better than mine did.

Susan, I can't believe you have butter tarts in your freezer! You must have some mighty powerful will power. I've never had them, but from what I've read they wouldn't even make it to the freezer.

We had Brown Sugar and Balsamic Glazed Pork Loin, Oven Roasted Potato Wedges,corn,homemade bread and the yummy carmel apple dip I made with apple wedges. I made a total pig of myself.

Connie, if I'd had your dinner I'd be "oinking" by now! Every single thing sounds great to me--and I just ate!

I baked off 3 chick legs, then coated them with BBQ sauce and baked a while longer. Heated up some Simply Potatoes, and had buttered brussel sprouts.

Dotmom, I haven't had Brussels sprouts all season. We used to eat them a lot and then all the sudden Harry told me they "weren't his favorite".

Wishing Harry a speedy recovery and a safe trip tomorrow. Jasdip, it's so good to see you posting! I don't feel well so it will be toast, applesauce and hot tea for me tonight.

I have not posted for a while, but decided to get back onto the Kitchen Table. I made Vegetable Beef Pasta Skillet with a side skillet of it vegetarian for my daughter.

Meatloaf, stewed tomatoes, steamed small red skin potatoes and broccoli. I also made a cherry pie.

Pizza for me, made the dough on wednesday it came out very good. I bought the new Duncan Hines caramel cake w/ apple I think, OMG you have to try this..It's a little pricey 3.79, but worth every penny.

I had dinner with my two daughters and their families at my oldest house. She made boc choy salmon with spinach and brown rice. It was soo good. I brought a chocolate fudge cake and french vanilla ice cream for dessert. It was so good to be with family. Satine
