If they're still in Bluestone's small pots, I'd pot them up to 1-gallon nursery pots, and leave them outside, well watered, until the weather starts getting really cold. They should go dormant in the pots. Then move them to the "somewhat heated garage." They don't need much light during dormancy, and if you water them a few times through their confinement, and then put them back outside in late winter - early spring, they should do ok. Plant them in late spring. You just want to avoid letting the potting mix freeze.

I was just wondering where Tamara is. Haven't seen a post from her in a very long while. Course, I'm often gone for a week at a time. Maybe a newbie on duty? There seems to be no rhyme or reason to why threads disappear. It's very odd to have read a post then go back to it and it's disappeared into thin air. Maybe it'll keep happening enough that I won't start scratching my head before I figure it out! :)

From the desperate folks do desperate deeds department: I wouldn't want to warrant that defeating those fasteners will allow you to lift the cabinet bottom, but if you think it will and want to try it, you might try cutting the panel around them with a slightly larger hole saw. Use a high quality one with a drill bit you can remove from the arbor. With the bit still in, cut a hole in a piece of 1x scrap stock. Fasten the scrap stock to the cabinet bottom over the area to be cut, using drywall screws or something similar (you'll have to patch the holes later). Remove the drill bit from the hole saw and have at it. The scrap will stabilize the hole saw so it won't run amok without its drill bit. How to re-secure the cabinet bottom later will be left as an exercise for the reader. :)
