I think they would go lovely.

They are light enough to keep it feeling open, but just enough color in to go with your granite. Will finish it off nicely.

Thanks iceqween13. We tried some darker Noce tiles, but I think they would make the kitchen too dark.

I just finished my back splash and decided to use the enhancer. It sure made the tiles pop. I used the gold Travertine.

The area under the hood has been sealed with the enhancer but to the left has not been sealed:

We used tumbled travertine marble and wanted a more golden color. The tile lady said to use an enhancing sealer which would make it look like the tile color when it was wet. Our tile installer used 2 coats of enhancing sealer. You can also use non-enhancing sealer if you do not want to change the original color of the tile. I'm not sure how the enhancing sealer will change your gray tiles, but if you wet one, that should tell you.

Also consider that the grout will usually spread across the tiles and fill in the holes and irregularities. So, consider the grout color you will use. There are some threads relating to spreading the grout vs. not spreading the grout.

I think those tiles look really nice with your granite as the brown in the tile picks up the brown in your granite. I used almond beige tumbled marble subways for my backsplash, but did not use the enhancer sealer. I did a similar design behind my range as you have in mind only we cut the 6" subways in half and made 3 x 3s.
