Try copying and pasting the photo into your email instead of attaching it as a link. Right click on the picture, then select 'copy', then go to your email and click in the message where you want the picture to go, then 'paste'.

Your email may be set to show pictures as links instead of embedding them into the message, but I don't know how to tell you to fix that without looking at the preferences for your email program.

Do you have Outlook Express? If so, when you create mail, click in the message area, then see "insert" at the top of the page. Choose "picture" from the list of options, then it will tell you to browse. If you have your pictures in "My Pictures", for instance, just take them from there.

I just click on the picture at Photobucket to make it a regular size picture then copy it into my letter.

I can get this to work in OE, but tried to change the size and that didn't work.

None of the suggestions work with Thunderbird.

Back to the drawing board.

Thanks to all.

Sue, try this link to shrink your pics.

Here is a link that might be useful: shrink pics

Phyllis, I'll try that tomorrow.

No Djuma tonight so I'm going to sign off and catch up on some sleep.

Thanks.
