If you don't mind, post your state and I'll tally up which states are represented. I'm thinking we are missing a few states. It would be fun to have a representative from every state.

I think if you look at the product itself you can get an idea of how long the "industry" will last. When it ceases to be innovative the customer base will dry up or at least slow down. Because of the introduction of tetraploid daylily lines in the '60s there is quite a bit more innovation that can be developed. Some hybridizers left their work on iris in favor of daylilies because the amount of progress in iris was slowing. It became more difficult to find a true break. They started working with iris tetraploids in the 1920s, about the same time that daylily hybridizing began to move from purely scientific to commercial enterprise. What is the next great technological breakthrough that will open the doors to greater innovation in daylily development? I haven't a clue, just know that people are resourceful and creative. All product industries have a time of slow down between major technological breakthroughs. We can expect one in daylilies eventually, however, I'd venture to say that it is decades away. Other general factors can impact all industries- such as economic cycles, regulatory infringements, changes in governments, etc. We are facing some of those now and they do have an impact on the daylily enterprise. We need to be careful that we don't generalize those situations as a collapse of the industry itself.

I would point out that functionally there are 3 electric ovens. A better option may be to get the all gas range with an electric wall oven to have some variety. The gas ovens aren't self clean, but may be preferable in certain applications, depending how you cook. As far as refrigeration, you could get the 700bc combo unit to add freezer space if that were a problem. I personally find the pro48 fine in the freezer department. It has significantly more capacity than the 632 (11.7 v. 9.9 cu. ft.). You didn't mention dishwashers, but I would probably get 2 in your case if the volume of prep dishes and dinnerware is at all represented by the amount of food storage/cooking space you have. Maybe a Miele and a set of Dishdrawers would be good.

No, there are ZERO listed for Arkansas. Consequently, we are writing letters and making phone calls. It's hard to believe they are too chicken. If one of our senators did one and she held true to form, she would read a pre-written answer to a question, whether the answer fit the topic well or not. Windsor shares the same latitude as Northern California and the French Riviera. Hot and humid in the summer and cold and damp in the winter. I don't usually put my furnace on until November but gave in last week when the inside of my house dropped to 14.5C. I think it was warmer outside or at least it seemed to be. I shut my furnace off some time in April but we do have some cold days in May. Winters here sure aren't what they used to be. We get snowstorms and the snow is gone within a few days. I would rather have the snow stay on the ground than have slush all the time. We get much less snow than London or Toronto. My heating bills aren't outrageous for this drafty house. I pay $73 year round for natural gas using a 45 year old furnace and this year I had a 2 month credit because I paid more for energy than what I used. I use just a wall unit air conditioner and have only used it on really not and humid days. i would rather use fans. This summer we had extremely hot temps and my air conditioner was not working but I had 3 fans going all all times and I took ice packs to bed with me to keep cool. My electric energy usage rarely goes over 250kwh and I pay $101.00 every month year round. Not too bad. Living close to the river it seems cooler in the summer than elsewhere in Windsor and colder and damp in the winter. Stay in Canada when you retire and move to BC,where the weather is moderate. My brother and his wife left Windsor and moved to Squamish and they love it there.

We are missing the following states: Alaska, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, Rhode Island, Vermont, Wyoming.

From Canada we hae Newfoundland, Ontario, B.C. No foreign countries checked in.

On the old map we had silver2 from Vermont and olivia oil from RI. Some of the states we are missing now had no members on the old map either. Maybe some more will check in today.
