I had planned to fix a baked pasta but he didn't want anything, so I just warmed up my two pieces of leftover broasted chicken and ate some clementines. It is down to 42 here now and has been overcast all day.

Our temps here in my part of Ohio are still in the high 50s and it's been raining/windy ALL day. Supposed to be a sudden drop tonight and change to snow for what looks like several days in a row.

My water and zumba classes were canceled.

Soooo when rain tapered off went to Ms Myra's BBQ for smoked chicken salad, crackers and pickle spear.

Then came home and ate a small baked sweet potato as an afternoon snack.

AC was on last night, now heat is back on!

egg rolls,chicken strips and chicken balls with a mega tossed salad thrown in for good measure!

Well, Duray is having chicken Masala with jasmine rice. Lauren is probably eating leftover seafood and I am having iced tea and chicken broth.

Don't know yet. DH and I are going out for dinner tonight.

Sue, I consider it a lucky day if I don't need to cook. I couldn't believe what the newspaper said for the weather in Indianapolis tomorrow. Today's high 60, tomorrows high 28. That's a drastic drop! I'm such a weather nut, I have to read the weather for all the cities each morning!

Shirley, I hope you have enough supplies so you can stay in for a few days if you have to. Never can tell what the weather will hand you in the midwest, so stay safe.

Glenda, I haven't had our air on yet. I refuse as long as I can have the house open to let the fresh air in. I'm such a skinflint when it comes to using water and electricity. What is in that smoked chicken salad? I was thinking maybe I could use a little liquid smoke and make something similar at home. It always makes my mouth water when you post you had that!

No, liquid smoke can't compare to their wood smoked chicken.

She has excellent reviews over her chicken and once they interviewed her on tv.

It's a basic old fashioned chicken salad: shredded smoked chicken, finely, very finely chopped celery and mayo. I love tabasco sauce sprinkled and mixed in cause I like a kick in my salad. So they make sure I have a bottle on my table.

When they hand me my tray they give me lots of crackers and pickle spears.

Glenda, I know it wouldn't be nearly as good, but it always sounds so great when you go there. We have absolutely no good BBQ restaurants here. There's a Sonny's on the other side of town (about a one hour drive), but it's not very good. Harry used to make the best smoked turkeys and pork shoulder. But those days are gone. Sigh! I need me some barbecue!
