Sorry sshrivastava, I have been checking back for responses on another post in this forum, but not this one. Thanks for your tips. I have just received my box of Bi-O-Kleen over the weekend and have done maybe 4 loads of laundry so far. My problem now is that the detergent doesn't completely rinse out of the dispenser and the Asko manual doesn't recommend that you use any detergent that doesn't completely rinse out. So I posted a question and someone responded about residual moisture in the drawer and drying it out before putting in the powder. I still have some clumpy powder, but it seems to be getting less. I have increased the temperature for my washes and now wash my daughter's clothes on the normal cycle at 120 degrees and mine and my husbands clothes at 140. The towels and sheets usually get a 160 or 175 degree washing. There aren't a lot of stains on the adult clothes (colors anyway) to notice a huge difference, so I'm really waiting to see how the whites come out after a couple of washes with the Bi-O-Kleen premium! I really can't wait to try the GG now that Our Roc has spoken. Roc is a pro when it comes to what brands of light duty detergent do the job. I expect my lovely white bath towels to benefit from the GG. Roc, I know you generally use FS lightly on bath towels are you using it with the GG? Livebetter..what temp do you wash your kitchen towels on? I generally do a short cool quick wash than a 150+ F Long wash and don't think I've had a leftover stain since getting this Duet. God have I mentioned lately I LOVE my Duet LOL. AND I just got a wster bill today...Roc, Larsi and Alex you will be impressed..my water bill comes every 2 months and encludes sewage..it used to run about 240--250....the past several bills have been 148 that's a 100$ savings..which equates to 50$ a month...love it

Very good deducing and thoughts/comments here. Thanks to everyone for your input. I appreciate the dialog going on. I just want to clarify for *us* and Persil...it's not a vomit odor. We don't have that. Thank goodness. It's the over the top fragrance. *That* is what we consider stinking to high heaven. We like a nice fresh fragrance as much a lot of people do, but this is not a light or fresh fragrance. Maybe we got a bad bottle and a bad box of pods? Couple the overbearing perfumes with the poor washing action, that's why it's on our kaa-kaa list. We literally get dirty, smelly laundry with an unnecessarily extremely highly perfumed effect when we have used Persil liquid or pods. It works ok for my laundry, but then again people joke and call me the odor-less woman, so it's not much of a challenge to clean my laundry; stains aside. Personally, I don't have enough clothes to keep my laundry to separate Sea Sea only batches. I tried that and I ran out of clothing. Everybody else here who creates laundry, not so much. They issue a challenge for any detergent. So, it's like dirty body wearing way too much 1980's perfume. You still smell the stink but now you smell the strong perfume as well. It's interesting how different water chemistry and I suppose washing machines can have such different effects on the laundry outcome when using Persil. For us, it's a nope. I'm glad it does work well for some of you. I just wish it *would* work for us. But it doesn't. Again, great conversation!

Greeny, In answer to your question/s regarding how old the Cheer and Ariel (Latin version) might be...I bought the powder Cheer thru Target dot com about 3 months ago. How old that stock was at the time, I don't know. I didn't save the boxes. The boxes didn't say anything about "reformulated" or "new and improved", so it's likely to be the previous unimproved formulation. If it gets any better than it is now with improvements, well then, just call me one happy girl! I just hope they don't improve it the way P&G improved their scent of Tide cause then I'll be sad. I l-o-v-e the light, clean scent of powder Cheer. The powder Ariel (Latin) I am currently using is a couple months old. Again, I have no way to know how old the stock was when I bought it as I threw the bags away as soon as I got them home and poured the powder into my plastic storage bins. The American Ariel that I choose not to buy again, I bought in Feb 2017. It cleaned well. I just could NOT stand the scent and it left our laundry rough. For us to say that it's rough says a lot since I never use liquid fabric softener, so we are used to laundry not being Downey softened. I do use Bounce fabric softener sheets when needed, but that's only for static control since it's so dry here, we have to use a dryer sheet, or else all clothing is a static-y mess when put in the dryer. I find the softening of dryer sheets to be marginal, compared to liquid fabric softener. Way way back, in the stone age, I used to use liquid Downey, but when we moved to this location, the static was too strong even for LFS, and I had to change to dryer sheets. I hope that helps!
