Anyone Watch the Bachelor last night?

I thought it was great at the end. Two ladies were being eliminated last night but at the end Jason did not give out the final rose and sent the remaining three ladies home. He said that he didn't want to give them false hopes. I was happy because the final three I did not like. One seemed whiney, one was bossy and the other was too hard for me.

I was also happy with his choice with the lady he choose with the double date. I didn't care for the one who was over organized and kept crying all the time.

Samkaren, I totally agree with all you said. Lauren and Shannon were just too bossy and demanding. Glad they were send home. I like Stephany (the widow) but she seems too old for Jason. What is his age? Of the others, I guess I don't have a clear favorite. I'll keep watching. Dottie

I've just got to get cable cause I found myself not really enjoying anything on tv last night, so I was switching back and forth.

Each time I've caught parts of The Bachelor, I'm embarrassed for these women..just seems so low class to me..the whole concept!

I binge watched a few seasons of TWD when my friend told me about the show. I was captivated from the first episode and now I'm a HUGE fan. The premier the other night was great. Can't wait for Sunday nights just to watch. I also like Fear the Walking Dead. That show can only get better, IMO. Interested to see where this season goes as well as the new characters in TWD. While watching, I was amazed at how many extras they had to transform into zombies. The director, while on the Talking Dead show, said it was over 1,000 people but like looked like a lot more than that. I am not generally a zombie fan, and, I agree the show isn't about the zombies but rather, the characters, which is probably why I enjoy it so much.

I had to go to the AGT website to read Grace's 'story', as I didn't remember hearing or seeing it at all. Apparently she's quite the musical prodigy. But perhaps she would come across a little better when she gets a little older and her voice has a chance to develop more. I always try to imagine myself in one of the judges' seats (yes, pompous, I know), and 'judge' by the quality of the performance, not by my personal likes or dislikes. That's harder to do then one would think! My personal tastes always win out! And that's why I wasn't bothered in the least by the 'glitzy suit' performer being sent home. The background stories are influential, too, Although sometimes I think they dramatize and overplay the sob stories more than they should. But you can't help but admire someone who's pulled themselves up by their boot straps, and is doing their best to have a positive influence on life. They deserve the chance. The talent on this show seems to get better every year! I'd be willing to bet a dollar to a hole in a donut that a number of the contestants will be discovered and move on to bigger and better things, regardless of how they finish up here. Rusty

I wonder what happened to Nick? Anyone know? He did such a good job on that show, so talented, and I loved the way he would get on the stage and 'rescue' a contestant when things got too awkward. Wonder if Tyra will be able to do that. I'd never even heard of Tyra Banks before, don't think I was missing much. To me it seemed like she was trying to imitate Nick's expressions, reactions, etc., but it didn't come across as very natural. I missed his antics a lot. But I love the show more than I disliked Tyra, so I will get used to her. I hope. The chicken surprised me, I thought it was a definite buzzer act, but it was pretty good once it decided to do its thing. It will be interesting to see how they upgrade that act for the next level. Just how entertaining and talented can a chicken be? ? ? I'm with Simon on the clowns, I most definitely do NOT like them! And I thought Puddles deserved the buzzers he got! But that voice was a big surprise! And the brother-sister dance team! Wow! How in the world can anyone spin that much that fast and not be falling down dizzy? Rusty

I am enjoying The Bachelor this time. I was also happy that he sent those three home. I like Molly and Naomi at this point. I did like Lauren in the beginning but she turned out to be different than I first thought she was. I also like Stephanie but she does seem to be too old for Jason.

I've also wondered about Steph. age compared to Jason's. I think she just looks old, kinda matronly when all dressed up. When she wears her sloopy clothes, she actually looks younger! I like the one that stayed overnight.

My favorites are Molly and Jillian. I was happy with who went home, especially Megan. Shannon and Nikki were always too emotional.

Jason is 32 and Stehpanie is 34, but seems beyond her years. Maybe due to losing her husband at such a young age. I just don't see any chemisty between them. He certainly has it with Molly.

And when does Deanna enter the picture. Looked like early on in the previews.

I agree . I like Jillian and Molly. Molly didn't stand out till last night. I think Stephanie is nice but looks like his mother. She's quite matronly for 34. I think he's a sweetie and I also was wondering when DeAnna was returning. He'd better give her the bum's rush. She had her chance and every woman in America thought she had lost her mind picking snowboard boy. He would have been the first in the 25 I would have dumped.

Stephanie looks older than 34 to me. What's w/ her eyebrows? I don't think he'll choose her and wouldn't be surprised if she wasn't in the next group to go.

I swore to myself that I wasn't gonna watch The Bachelor this time around, but when I read that one of the "dates" involved being on the set of General Hospital I knew I had to watch at least this episode. Years ago I was invitied to be on set at General Hospital for a day of taping and it was awesome, so I wanted to see what they were going to do...

Anyway, I set the DVR to record it, then buzzed through most of it. So, I don't know "who's who" except that I do know which one is Stephanie (the widow, right?). She looks way older than Jason (to me, anyway), and her face is so tight that I'd swear she's either had plastic surgery or was dosed up with Botox right before she left to be on the show. I saw absolutely no chemistry between them at all, and I was surprised that he kept her and sent the other one home from that two-on-one date.

And the one who "ordered" him to give her a rose -- wow. She's a piece of work. I was glad he sent her home at the end.
