What Color Are You Wearing Today?

Just wondering what color are you wearing today, with the talks about colors. I am wearing navy pants and a deep blue 3/4 length sleeved top. Cheryl gave it to me and the first time I have worn it. It has a bit of a silver sparkle, vary faint in the fabric. What color or colors are you wearing this Sunday?

Black pants and a plum top, but I'm getting ready to work out so I'll be changing soon.

As I matter of fact I do wear jewelry differently at my 2 homes! I can't stand cold metal touching me so I don't wear necklaces in the winter (from Nov to about March) at my regular home. And I wear one particular pair of earring almost all winter because they dangle but not long enough to touch my skin. Some of the longer ones end up touching my neck from my scarves & bulky coat so I avoid those. It's crazy but cold metal just sends a chill right through me and makes me feel colder. Since it's warmer in HHI, I do wear necklaces & earrings and even bracelets. I usually bring a few down with me so that I can have some variety. One necklace at a time, if it's bold than the earrings are smaller. One bracelet at a time and it depends on my sleeve length. In both places, I occasionally wear rings when I remember them. Your comments about gold & blue reminds me that I have an 18k gold ring with a lapis lazuli stone. I should dig that out and start wearing it again.

Patti I find that the professional pedi last a very long time, many weeks so is really worth it, plus the massage and pampering are wonderful. I have never mastered the art of polish if I do it you would think a blindfolded chimpanzee did it.... it ain't pretty! The pros make it look so simple and easy and fast. I have been waiting for my broken toe nail to grow out before getting one but I donÃ¢ÂÂt think I can wait until then. I have no idea how I managed to damage my big toe nail but I did, I hope it doesn't grow in all funky looking.

Well, we may have a difference of opinion there, Jasdip. But, it is nice to know that not only will there be hundreds of police from across the country there, in addition to Premier Prentice, Prime Minister Harper will be in attendance as well, to pay his respects. Too many of our young men in the RCMP and Canadian Forces have died on home soil this year at the hands of "idiots". I would like to call them what I really think, but I would be lowering myself to their level. My heart goes out to the families, and I would like to say to them, "You gave all and all I can do in return is say Thank You. God Bless."

What two colors are you least likely to wear?

I don't think I can say 2 colors as there are shades of every color that look good and shades of almost every color that look awful. For example, some yellows look completely washed out and horrid on me, and yet there's a certain shade of yellow that just makes my face light up. Certain shades of brown can overwhelm me, but certain shades, like a softer cocoa brown look fine. I had my colors done many, many years ago and I was a summer. They said black and orange were my "no no" colors, but I often wear black and I think I look fine. I'd say oranges are the toughest for me, yet a softer rust works ok. I do know though that my eyes reflect what I'm wearing, so anything in the blues make them look really blue and anything in the aquas/teals/green make them look very green. They say, if you want to see colors that look good on you, look closely at the shades in your irises and those colors will all work.

Dark blue jeans, purple silk blouse, and purple sweater that I just finished knitting. If I am not wearing purple, I will be wearing pink, or red.
