I love most shades of yellow. Mostly green-yellows, pale yellows, and not too crazy for brown-yellows. As i posted in the Miss America post, I picked the winner because she was wearing a yellow gown. Dottie

Why don't you jazz it up a bit, like with a colorful scarf, or a vest?

I love yellow! Lime green and bright colors! For years I was the "bright spot" no matter where we went! LOL DH always said he could pick me out of a crowd where ever we were!
Now I am trying to tone it down to appropriate colors for someone my age! Bwaahahaha

I like glitz and will often wear a shirt with "glitz" on it, but I'm working at a dinner today and a scarf would get in the way. I posted on dotmom's color post. I couldn't bring myself to put that shirt on...I've got on a fuschia one instead. I love purple, greens and navy....I just couldn't bring myself to put on the yellow shirt this morning.

I hate yellow,gray and green. Mostly wear brown or blue, black and white, red or pink, rarely orange.

One of my favorite colors is canary yellow or any yellow that's light/medium. I look good in them, but put a goldish yellow on me and I look like I need to be lying down with a lily in my hands.

Maybee, if I could lose weight as well as you've done, I'd be the first one bidding on your yellow shirt. Yellow does look good on me and I enjoy wearing it. :)

Can't think of a color memory issue like yours, but I've been known to add a denim vest (or scarf) to jazz up a few shirts I have.

I'll put the thing on and post a picture when I have time....it is a Rough Hewn long sleeved t with a little rivet decoration on the right shoulder.

That yellow dress was corduroy with an empire waste and turtle neck...I can still see it to this day. I "did" so want it when it was in the store, but the first time I wore it, I knew I didn't like it. I don't know how many times I "had" to wear it before I was off the hook :o)

You can wear a top that works with your complexion & hair with a "bottom" of the opposite color, & it looks really good.

green/red-well, you might want to use olive green with rust red so you wouldn't look like a Christmas tree.

I *love* yellow, but it makes me look like I have a liver problem, so I used to wear a purple top with a buttercup-yellow skirt.

I just loved that outfit.
