Miele T9800 dryer vent/duct sound insulation

Hello all. I recently installed a Miele T9800 clothes dryer. Like many, based on other posts I've read, I am having issue with the loud noise related to the airflow - vent - ducting. I have installed smooth, rigid 4" aluminum round ducting, which I understand is better for noise than the semi-rigid or flexible tubing, but it is still quite loud. I have minimized corners (two 90' turns--one each for the connection to the back of the dryer and the other to the wall). It seems if there was some way to insulate around the outside of the vent ducting, especially around where the vent connects to the back of the unit, the sound would be dampened considerably. Has anyone had any experience in sound insulating a dryer vent or the area around the vent/ducting? Any suggestions or ideas would be appreicated!
