Reviving old thread (Dec 2008) + Savoy/Napa Cabbage

The "Stuffed Cabbage...discuss" thread that I revived has a link to "stuffed cabbage recipes" thread that was started in December 2008, but when I posted to that thread, it did not show up here. What happened to it? Can you not revive something that old??

While on the topic of stuffed cabbage - has anyone else used Napa cabbage for this? I thought what I had was called Savoy cabbage - actually I thought that Savoy was another name for Napa, but I found out that it is a very different cabbage. However, the Napa cabbage worked fine for me except that I did not have enough of it. I kept the stems at the ends of the leaves but sliced off a thin layer at the end to make them thinner and easier to roll.

I need to buy some more cabbage because I have more than half of the stuffing left over.
