DD and the sweet little slob

DH drove dd back to her cute little house at college Sunday night. She rents this through her college with two other students.

They walked in and the kitchen was trashed. Dirty, greasy pans on the stove and food left on the table and counters. A sink full of dirty dishes. You get the idea....

The girls all share cookware and dishes and all agreed at the beginning of the school year to clean up after themselves. One roommate is not cooperating. DD and the other roommate have nicely asked the sweet little slob (she is sweet!) more than once to leave the kitchen clean so that when they need to cook, they don't have to get out a shovel.

My suggestion was to just pile all the dirty dishes on the sweet little slob's bed, but dd and roommate need the kitchenware to cook for themselves. Plus dd thought that was kind of mean. Buying new dishes and cookware is not in the budget for dd and other roommate. Even if they did, they would still have to work around sls's mess. Both young women like their sloppy friend and want to handle this diplomatically.

So with dd's permission to ask the forum, any ideas how to handle this?
