WE need more pictures of the room. What is behind the sofa? Once it is decided what part of the room will be LR ten a large rug to define the area would help. If the room is for conversation, then more comfortable chairs and a game table might work. Post more pictures and give us the dimensions of the room.

Current location of sofa is great as it acts as a space divider and it’s floating location gives a good feel when sitting on it

You can use side tables with lamps one a sides of sofa for balance.

What if instead of buffet table there is another couch ? Too much ?

Consider bigger furniture and large artwork for the wall. A rug is a must! ;-)

You might consider placing the sofa to face the fireplace. The sofa would be on the small blank wall to the left in your first photo, then the chairs could be where the sofa is currently and the small ottomans could go in front of the fireplace. If you're wanting a second sofa, then all you'd need to do is place the other sofa on the small wall to the left to make an L shape.
