I had the funniest dream!!

Dreamed mom and I were in church, sitting in front row, I realized I had on my old red sweatshirt,with the stains! We were standing up singing, preacher was using a music boom box, instead of the choir singing. He also had a pet cat that was wondering around up near him, the cat hit one of the buttons on the boombox, and all of a sudden rock and roll was playing, instead of the hymn we were singing! The whole congregation starting cracking up and laughing. Wish all my dreams were this fun!

I've had a reoccurring dream about another floor in my house. In my dream, it feels familiar and I am frustrated because I forget about it so much. Beds are made, the living room is kind of cluttered with stuff that isn't mine but I alway recognize it and it is always the same. I do not need another floor in this house nor do I need another room but when I dream about it, there is a strong feeling of familiarity and relief about remembering this part of my house. I've even given tours to friends and family. I don't need four stories to worry about, even though there is room in the attic and the views would be amazing.

I had a similar dream. I was in the hospital and people were standing around my bed. I was dying and I knew it. A very good friend of mine, who died over two years ago, was standing at the foot of my bed. Even though I knew I was dying, I wasn't afraid. My friend turned and walked out of the room. Next scene in my dream, I was walking down my driveway towards my house. The friend who died, had given me his truck, and as I passed by the truck parked there, I saw a letter written on about 3 sheets of notebook paper, in pencil, folded in half, stuck in between the side mirror and the truck door. (My friend used to write to me sometimes (before he died, of course), so I instantly knew the letter was from him. I started reading the letter and he said he was sorry he had to leave the room when I was dying but he couldn't handle it, but he wanted to tell me that he thought I was very brave. And then I woke up. I didn't get to finish reading the letter. I took care of this friend for several years before he died and I was with him when he died. We knew he was dying and had often talked about it. I had asked him to please give me a sign, if any way he could, when he had passed on. I was so disappointed I couldn't finish reading the letter. Even though he was very close to me, I don't dream about him very often, but the last time I dreamed about him, he called me on the phone, and asked me why don't you come see me anymore. I said, "You don't live where you used to live." (I didn't want to tell him that a niece that he disliked now lives in his house.) Then I said, "You died." He said, "Are you sure?" I said, "Yes, I was there when it happened." and then I woke up.

That's hysterical, Tibbie . . . love it! I have a sister-in-law that I'd love to send it to, but instead will just post it on my FB. A safer way to get the point across (LOL)! I loved the Far Side cartoons, too. DS would gift me with one of their daily calendars every Christmas. A laugh a day! So many great ones. One fav was of this dachshund peeking around the corner into his living room at night as some creepy space monster was climbing through the window. It said something like, "OK, now is not a good time to go into my usual hysterical barking fit."

It would be fun to find out what it all means. I dream alot and some are very strange, I have to wake myself up from some they creep me out.

We don't share the same dreams but we are sharing the red sweat shirt. Wonder what that means! LOL

If I eat ice cream before bed I have the strangest dreams. Sometimes I try and write them down just as I get up in the am.

At least you're wearing a sweat shirt when you go to church, I'm usually in my PJs or nude. I do spend alot of time in PJs but never nude..I'd love to have someone figure out my dreams, talk about weird! But, mine can't be true because I'm always nice and slim...I guess that's why it's called a dream.....

LOL that was a funny dream. I had one last week where I was in charge of watching some unknown kids that showed up at church. When I went down to the basement where they were, some of them were running around in just their underwear playing in some mud (I don't know why there was mud in the basement). Anyway I was yelling at them to stop. Then one who seemed a little older kept mocking me so I reached out and grabbed him on his upper arm. When I did that I heard and was awaken by my husband saying OUCH! I had a hold of his arm and I guess I was squeezing it hard. It even left a small bruise on him. I am not a violent person, really I'm not LOL.

I had the funniest dream!!
