Our 12-yr old washer broke down -- anyone like the Maytag EpicZ?

Our trusty 12-year-old Kenmore finally spun its last load the other day, while our oldest teenager was in the middle of a load. She was none too happy, but that's another story. . .We've been researching and reading, and found the Maytag Epic Z, Model MHWZ600TW, on sale at Home Depot. (Sale going on right now!) We've decided to go with a front load washer this time because we used them in a beach house we rented a couple of summers ago and I loved them. With three kids, our washer is going constantly.

I searched the forum, and found very few people who have actually used the Maytag EpicZ, as opposed to the Epic. It has a 3.7 cu. ft. capacity.

Is it fairly new?

If you have one, could you tell me what you think of the capacity, compared to whatever else you might have had before? Can I wash big comforters in there (that's my dream -- not having to take them to the laundromat)? Is the compatible dryer as big as others?

How do you like them overall?

Thanks for any advise or comments.
