Your choices sound PERFECT. I don't know what Grecian Ivory looks like but it sounds like you need a white with a tinge of grey to it to pick up the green and subtle-y contrast with the white cabinets. Positano described it as having hints of grey and green so I think it will be great. Your green countertops and those ming green dots will be wonderful hits of colour in an otherwise neutral palette. My kitchen has Natural Cream which has a bit of grey, but has overall warmth too. I like how the white cabinets "pop" ever so subtly against the wall colour. I love 'concrete gray'. The floors will warm things up a lot and I don't think you'll have to worry about the room looking cold. Is your white creamy and warm at all? I think you have some classic material colors planned and can go many ways with backsplash. What is the overall style you're going for? Classic? Contemporary? Whimsical? Organic? What is the style of your cabinets? If you're using a cabinet style that is somewhat classic, I could see adding some color like burgundy subways. You could even do something wilder like painted Mexican tiles....Something modern like glass...or older like brick. Sticking with something the color of your cabinets with a little pizazz added in accents or a liner would be elegant.

For a soft off white or ivory, a few to check out are: Acadia White, Linen White and Bone White by Benjamin Moore. Get samples and paint large swatches on poster board to move around as the light changes.

All, Just thought I’d update you here. In a recent development, I made the executive call to shiplap the great room/kitchen, which will likely be painted Sherwin Williams alabaster. With the shiplap walls in an off-white, I think my hesitation around doing the gray cabinets has dissipated. I plan to go with Wellborn’s Hancock door style, and the doors will be made out of MDF. As such, I’m limited to their paint color which is baked on in the factory. Budget is a concern here and going with their Dove gray color is friendlier than choosing my own custom shade of gray. If I could, I would pick a lighter gray, but I don’t think it will make a huge difference now that the walls will be so light.
