Wall color with pure white shaker cabinets?
Comments (4)Aqua frost by Valspar! it is a light, bright color! At least that is the color I want to paint my kitchen. I have pure white cabinets and dark charcoal countertops. What colors are the other rooms in your house? do you have pictures of your kitchen?...See MoreSW Pure White Walls with BM Paper White Cabinets? Does this work?
Comments (12)If you like the white-on-white, I think the gray-white of BM Paper White could be nice. Or maybe go one step up on that same strip - BM Sterling 1591. You could also go with Pure White on your cabinets. If you decide it's too stark, then you could paint your walls Paper White or Sterling (which would be like the top inspiration pic you posted.) Do you have wood floors in your kitchen? That really warms up a white-on-white room, IMO....See MoreBest white subway tile to go with Sherwin Williams Pure White 7005
Comments (10)Amy Glasscock, yes, I have samples of both, and I can go to Lowe's today and get whatever they have. Do you know if the Daltile told by tile stores and the Daltile sold by Lowes or Home Depot are different? I know many products are a different quality in HD/Lowes but though tile would be the same but maybe not. Becky H, the Cloe is beautiful as is your quartz, I'm sure your kitchen will be beautiful. BeverlyFLADeziner, I had known that at one point but had forgotten so thank you for reminding me. Lyn Nielson, good advice about the dye lot, I will do that. I'm kind of dreading those things that I don't notice now but will eventually and once I see it, I can't unsee it and it will bug me! Thank you all for taking the time to reply. Any more comments or advice are welcome!...See MoreOff-White Cabinet Color with SW Pure White walls
Comments (3)are you painting those cabinets or getting new ones? Painting? why is the backsplash being done before the cabs? now you're stuck w/the bright white (which I don't think was the best match w/that countertop. ) I would have done white cabinets and Kendall Charcoal on your walls. The floor and tile would have popped w/that wall color. (you still can redo the walls with it. I think it will look better than a bright white. Kendall or Chelsea are warmer grays that would look beautiful w/your wood, the floors and the white. get a sample and just try it on one wall. (you're taking that tile up to the ceiling, yes?) Please, no boob light! gave you a nice flush mount. Who is painting the cabinets? Honestly? I'd keep the cabs as is and get a new countertop (and a diff ceiling light!) You'll spend at least 5K getting those painted (please use a pro cabinet painter and not the house painter guy! ) so take that money and get a lighter counterotop. You could find cheaper replacements if you went w/a pre-fab countertop. they come in quartz, granite, whatever. find a soft, grayish/white quartz, or a creamier white/w/a soft gray undertone. You plan on keeping these floors for a long time? No need picking colors that work w/that floor if you plan on changing it in the next year or so. But, if not possible, pull a light silver gray from the floor and those counters and use that shade. or do a grayish white. lets see the countertop close up Try a sample of these and see how they look w/the other two elements...See More- speris thanked Michelle Scott for Ethan Allen - Laguna Niguel, CA
