New To FLs, Clothes Not As Soft Question

We recently made an upgrade from some old Kenmore 90 series TLs to the Kenmore HE5t set. Overall we totally love them -- but there's one quirk: our clothes aren't coming out as soft as they did with our TLs. Here's the run down:

With our top-loader:

We used All Free & Clear and All Stainlifer as detergent.

We used Downy for fabric softener.

We used 1 Bounce sheet in the dryer.

With our new front-loaders:

We used All Free & Clear HE and Wisk HE as detergent.

We used Downy for fabric softener.

We used 1 Bounce sheet in the dryer.

We're also using the same temp settings and stuff, but the clothes just aren't coming out as soft as they used to. If we were using totally different detergents or fabric softeners, I'd assume that was the issue -- but the only thing that's changed is the move to the HE formulation.

Any thoughts? Ideas?
