Happy with my LG FL's Handwash cycle!
Comments (5)Hello izeve I read most of your post and I know you have LG 2301 for quite sometime now, is it still as good as new. I am from Europe too, living in states trying to find washing machine with hot wash ...very difficult here... But I am going with LG for sure I found your model WM 2301HR at local scratch and dent appliances for 1300$ in red.for both washer and dryer. It is supposedly brand new, but discontinued model. How much did you pay for it when you bought it? Are you still happy with it? Which cycle do you use the most?...See Moremy new Bosch FL seems to leave my towels very hard
Comments (12)yes, I really like it and would buy it again . I feel like my clothes are coming out really clean. I've only had it two weeks. I think I probably used too much soap in that load of towels. Something to consider is repair /parts availability in your area. I would talk to the service person in your area for both machines. You can find them on the manufacturer site. That LG is a really good looking machine.:) It seems to me the more bells and whistles you have the more there is to break down. And in the end, I never use all those bells and whistles. I have a 3 year old Bosch dishwasher and really like it so that pulled me in the Bosch direction. I also considered the Duet. My daughter has it and likes it but I think there may be a problem with a week door handle on that. The one in the store was broken. Good luck with your decision. They cost a lot and you sure don't want to buy something you will hate. I was worried that there might be a steep learning curve, but I've adjusted without any problems. My only worry is that on the rare occasion that my husband will do a load, he will throw in a cup of detergent. He doesn't follow directions very well . LOL...See Morewhere o where can my underwire be? (LG FL washer)
Comments (2)My concern is that it is somewhere between the inner basket and the outer tub but did not use the correct terminology in my post. I am worried that it might pierce the outer tub as it did in my top loader years ago, "clog up the works" or puncture a seal in another way. In wore the suit 3 days prior and the wire was in place but I did notice that it had momentarily poked through it's cloth casing. I adjusted it and made a mental note that the casing needed stitching (but i did not get around to it before I washed it). I noticed that there was a slight rubbing/scraping sound during that load of all bathing suits but i thought it was due to something else in the contents. I have not heard it again in subsequent loads that I ran before i realize the wire was missing. I do question however how the wire got out of the fine mesh lingerie bag. That has also happened before but it got stuck on the bag. Arggg!...See MoreLG front load washing machine
Comments (30)Thanks for sharing Rita. My inner laundry nerd is happy now! Amazing, isn't it, how quickly you can see a difference? I was stunned too when I got my new washer a couple of years ago. I wish you many happy loads of laundry going forward! FYI, I usually have to order powder Cheer and Tide with Bleach from Target or Walmart as my local merchants don't have it most of the time. I can get powder Tide (regular) from Costco when they are not out of stock and sometimes it's on a $6 coupon, which is nice. There was no powder Tide at my Costco for a couple months within the last year and I kinda hit the panic button there. haha...See Morejoseph849
