I am proud I finally decided to see a therapist in addition to taking an antidepressant.

I'm happy that I:
Retired
finally moved out of my house, and sold it.
got out of the stock market a couple of years ago.

I'm happy that I joined weight watchers and lost 116 lbs last year (as of Sunday 12-27) I made a resolution that I will never see that back on my body again!

I wish i had gotten rid of my washington mutual stock! blech! lol

I am proud that I have remained Smoke Free for another year. It will be 2 years in February and I am happy that it influenced my DH to quit as well. It has been 5 months for him.
I am happy that the extra dollars from not smoking are going into the bank or paying off debt!

I am HAPPY for everyone & especially HAPPY for kat___wa & mush - wonderful accomplishments & you should be proud - you are role models for the rest of us - to set a goal & stick with it is absolutely wonderful!

I am happy & proud that...

my oldest DD decided to go back to school for her masters FT & is doing well - she will finish in 12/09, & that my younger DD graduated from HS & started college & is also doing well. I am happy that my DH & I are happy, and that he cleaned the refrigerator today... life is very good.

I'm proud that my family is healthy. That is a huge thing. There is so much sickness that I know we take good health for granted, but I'm so happy to have healthy grandchildren and children. It's a lot to be proud of.

I am still happy about the election.

I am proud and happy that my 41 year old DD had a beautiful baby girl in October~~~~my other Gkids are 18 and 15, it is such a joy to have a baby in the family, my DH and I were so proud and lucky to be there together to watch her birth:)

I happy I decided to return to Weight Watchers in October instead of waiting 'til the new year. Now I am 14 pounds ahead of schedule.

Kat, that's a wonderful success. Congratulations!!! I don't agree with all that Weight Watchers preaches but it's still the best program out there for healthy weight loss you can keep off permanently without deprivation.

I'm happy my husband has a good job.

I am proud I had the strength to rid myself of a couple toxic personalities and remind myself of what is really important.

I am happy that I found a good man to marry two years ago (as of January 1st!). I didn't like being single. (Hope no one takes offense at that. I just didn't like all the aloneness).

Kat, that's super!!! You deserve a lot of credit.

I'm proud and happy that my son and his GF graduated from college in December (and that he has a good job), and that my daughter and her BF moved into the beautiful house they had built on a lake. I'm also proud of her for going for her MBA in addition to working full time.

I'm happy that I got a part-time job, and that I had some writing successes this year. And that I finally started working on my dad's collection of negatives.

I am so happy I got to watch my "one and only" grandson grow through his first year. He was born 12/18/07...and it has been such a miracle to watch as he changes just about everyday!! I was also so proud of my DD who took an 8 month family leave to be with him before she went back to work.

I learned patience as I watched the stock market and the economy go through such a hard period...and will continue throughout this year I think. Instead of angst, I learned to have different "plans"...like Plan A, Plan B and C!! Like they say, "choose your fights" and I chose not do what I can to survive, but not let it ruin my life.

And...I took a wonderful trip to New Hamphire, Vermont and Maine! And I came back with the quilting bug. I made my first quilt in December and hopefully many more this year. It's so much fun and I love being creative!

Finally I am happy that I have a job with a large university in So.California, and hopefully I will be able to retire July 1st of this year.

Guess I'm proud I ended the year at the same weight (or a little less) as I began; well, at least I didn't add more to this fat ol' bod!

I'm still happy about the election, too! :)

I am happy, that my younger daughter got pregnant, cause she wanted it so bad.

I am also happy, to be able to have helped the older daughter move out of an unhappy situation, even if it was a lot of work.

I am happy for the birth of two more healthy greatgrandchildren. Happy that my hubby survived 4 bypass heart surgery is doing so well. Happy that our daughter and son-in-law and all 5 of our grandkids are well.

Glad that all the kids and grandkids are healthy. Glad that I still have my mom and she's still able to live independently.

My friendships seems to be fewer than what they used to be, but I do feel that most of them are deeper ones, so I guess it balances out.

Happy New Year 2009, everybody! Hope it's a good one for you and yours.

I am so proud that we survived 2008. DH has been unemployed for 10 mos. (starts a job 1/5 -- YAAAAHHH!!!! Cobra was killing us.) Beloved dear SIL died too young. DS had a breakdown and had to be hospitalized -- he's fragile now, but functioning. DD went through an ugly divorce. 2009 has to be better. And I'm happy that we're all healthy & the GK's are terrific & I'm living in the south (grew up in the freezing cold north) & DS & DDIL bought me an incredible used truck in July -- I feel so special driving it! "When God closes a door, He opens a window."

I am proud of our son who graduated from high school and is now in college, even though he doesn't really love school.

I am happy that I feel closer to God now.

I am happy that I still have the best job, teaching 2 and 3 year olds.

I am happy that most of my extended family lives close by. It wasn't always that way!

I have really enjoyed all the accomplishments of my KT friends.
Happy to have made it thru another year with my DH Vince. Both of us are in poor health but The Good Lord has watched over us. Thanks for being our friends KT.

Proud (and surprised) - to have survived on my own with no job for 3 months.

Happy - that I trusted my faith that I would survive and a new job would come along.

Also happy with good news that i'll be great-aunt, again!! She'll be here Feb / March. Won't go into that story, but so far, so good. It looks like all is going as planned.

Another one here still happy about election - that it is over- 2plus years was long enough, and that change is in the air. I just pray that mankind will finally wake up and realize that violence is not the way to settle things - this new war is scary. I'll be happy when it is over!!

Happy - to still getting to know all of you. Seems strange to be so personal with all of you, and you with everyone else here. But I consider you as friends, in the deepest regard.
