Well, I'll answer here, too. Don't laugh, but the only news I watch is FOX news so I know all about the rains, flooding, snowstorms at 'home' but I'm totally ignorant of the weather conditions here... except for where I am. And it's sunny and dry and I wish we would get some of those rains so we could get off water restrictions!!! Though they said they're going to make the water restrictions permanent!! puffpuffpuff I hate when that happens. Someone told me that the reason Melbourne - where I am - is so depleted of water is because we have the beer people making their brew here and they use A LOT of water. Why they don't move up to Darwin where they have monsoons every year is beyond me. So the regular folk have to suffer with water restrictions and they want us to take 4 minute showers (as if) and even stand in a tub while we shower so we can then use that water to water our garden YUCK!! all the while the brewery goes on wasting water like crazy for all the beerheads!! This is a crazy country. Did I tell ya the new Prime Minister wants to censor the internet and even plans to ban 'foreign' websites??? So if I ever disappear from GJ for like 6 months it may be because I can't get onto it!!!!!! Sheesh. Floods aren't half as scarey as censorship and dictorshipish Prime Ministers. ItÂs been quite blustery for the last few days And yesterday later in the day it started raining and didnÂt stop til about an hour ago..now the sun is out but the wind is still whippin. The candles are always ready here, the only thing I do once we get a few flickers is fill up some pitchers of water..I can cook and heat the house (gas)..so the only thing we suffer from is toilet flushing. LOL Sharon, The Last Supper..now that is cheeky. LOL And what is it with the dishwasher duty?
