Hi All...thanks in advance for any and all help! I have a laundry room that connects my garage to the kitchen area of our home. The house has a full basement, the laundry room has a crawl space. My problem is, the laundry room is the coldest room in the house. Part of the probelm is the crawl space, even though the floor is well insulated, it is a tile floor and always cold. The biggest part of the problem is the dryer vent. You can put a thermometer on the floor at the base of the dryer and it readys close to 20 degree's colder than any other place in the house. I can't find this locally, is there any type of a dryer vent that is insulated, or one that you can open/shut when you need to? Currently, I have the standard4" pc of tubing from the dryer to the "flapped" vent that goes thru the way. Thanks for any help you can offer!
