It is up and should be ready any day now. It is the best cam I have ever seen. The eagles are building a new nest. You can click on pictures on the right side of this page.

How kewl! We just had a baby born locally. The news last night said it would be several weeks before we'd be able to see him/her above the top of the nest.

Mary Lu, I love when they set up cameras like this. The Norfolk Botanical Garden has nesting eagles and we got to check them out on the live cam while we were there a year ago. It was so amazing to watch them. This is so timely as I happened to see a bald eagle perched so stately in a tree on my way home from work today.

Not sure which of the few recent ones Ron's referring to, but the one at the following link has 2 babies already hatched (on or around 1/9, iirc) and are SOOOO cute! You can only occasionally see a head and beak pop up, but they are precious! (and of course, only in the daylight, lol!) I've watched the parents feed them a few times over the last few days. This particular site is from the city I live in, they put construction on hold for quite a while, iirc, so as not to disturb the parents. I followed the triplets all last seson too. I'm really looking forward to doing it again.....thanks for the heads up.....(also waiting for the Osprey to return to Barbee Mill in Washington state)......
