I assume that this problem was resolved since this is an old posting. However for those like myself who also had the same trouble and hated Bosch; I found a solution. The spray arms are poorly designed and the tiny holes clog over time. Unscrew the "nut" attaching each of the spray arms and use an ice pick or something small to unclog the holes along the arms. You will have to tilt the arm back and forth and shake out all the particles through the center connection hole in order to clean it out. Run water through it to be sure it is clear and shake it until there is no sound and the holes are clear. Re-attach to the machine and you will have sparkling dishes again. I cursed the darned dishwasher for weeks until I learned this!

weedmeister; Good advice! We are planning on taking 3 place settings, including cutlery, just to get a feel for how it loads and also my pet peeve from the Bosch - the cutlery tray. In our Bosch, our heavy cutlery always feels like it will fall out. I was tempted to ask Bosch if they would sell me a tall cutlery tray. I popped into Sears Home today and had a look at some dishwashers, including Bosch (strictly for comparison sake), Samsung, LG, Kitchenaid and Kenmore Elite, which the sales guy said were built by Kitchenaid. Not all models, just the ones they have in that store. I felt the same way about the Bosch, after looking at their new models. Not too keen on the Korean brands as I love my Samsung TV and washer/dryer, but I don't hear great things about LG or Samsung dishwashers. I really liked the feel of the Kitchenaid, but the sales guy told me that I would get better bang for my buck with Kenmore Elite. He said that they had a model that was $2k last year and is now at a lowered price, with a sale on it, which drops it to $1399. Everything is equivalent to the top Kitchenaid, except no third rack for an upper cutlery rack. I don't know whether to believe him or not, but it seems to be the same as the Kitchenaid KUDE 40, which should be that price...... I guess I will have to get my wife to see how she likes the loading : ) That is the most important point! Gordonr gave you the address for the one I got. I think you can save 4 or 5 bucks by doing a search and getting it from one of their distributors instead. The LintEater works better than I imagined. I was really surprised at just how clean it got my ducts. I found it seemed to work better on the horizontal pieces if I ran it through while running the drill it was attached to, but then pulled straight out to retrieve it. This seemed to pull back more of the lint down where I could throw it away, rather than just continuing to break it up. Of course, if I could have run it from the outside, as they suggest, and connected my ShopVac to the inside connection, then I wouldn't have needed to worry about using the device to pull lint back toward myself. Anyway, on the LintEater website, they show before and after pics that I intially thought had to be a little misleading. But after having used the device myself, I don't doubt that they really got results like that, and probably didn't have to take a ton of time to get them!

I'd try changing detergent. Is there a pre-soak cycle on the washer? I don't know much about FL'ers yet, my Bosch 500 is due here on Saturday, but when my kids were little, a soak in Biz used to work wonders. That was before the days of Oxyclean (have you tried using the liquid form and spraying it directly on the spot?)but Biz saved many clothes. In fact, sometimes we'd soak something over night in a bucket and then throw it in the machine to get washed. Just make sure you dissolve all the Biz in water BEFORE adding the clothes. People here rave about Charlie's soap getting out spots. I ordered some to arrive next week, but in the meantime the company offered to send me a sample packet by mail. That' might help to determine if it's the detergent or the machines.
