I'm confused though about that new couple and the woman who died in their home, leaving the paper note under the bed. What was that all about?
I see her hubby is leaving her as a result of it, and that the daughter dug the half burned scraps out of the fireplace.

Can anyone fill me in on it?

I thought it was funny when Bree was trying to fix up her son with that gay guy, so he'd work on their house!

It sure took a long time to find that note under the bed. I had about given up. She must sweep under the bed about as often as I do. Over all, I thought it was a good show.

It was discovered/revealed during the hurricane the husband did indeed have an affair with the woman who was blown out the door. The wife made no bones that she would make her husband's life a living hell because he'd claimed there was no affair. Next thing I knew, a note was found, the husband packed up and left and someone was picking the note out of the fireplace ashes as wife had burned it.

Could someone clue me in or sell me a vowel or something?

That note was left by her aunt that was staying with them for awhile. She wanted to come clean about whatever mystery is surrounding the daughter, Dylan, but the mother didn't want Dylan to find out. The mother found the note the aunt had written before she died but threw it under the bed when someone was coming up the stairs or something, and must have forgotten about it.

I missed the first few minutes thanks to a tenant who wanted to chat...grrrr.

I really liked the part with Lynette and Mrs. McCluskey spreading the ashes, and when she replaced the real ashes with vacuum gunk -
wonder if Gabby will stay with Carlos now that he is disabled...
but really missed not seeing the first few minutes of the aftermath..

Suzan, Tom and the children were rescued from the wreckage of the house, and were fine. Before the tornado hit, Tom had passed out from asthma, and the children were herded under the stairs by Ida, the woman who'd brought her cat--the cat that later escaped (thanks to Lynette, I believe). There was no room for Ida under the stairs, but she said she'd be fine in the corner. However, she died.

Now, what happened to the cat?

I was worried about the cat too.

Victor was killed by the picket fence. Gabby was shown sitting with her FIL at the funeral. The FIL tald her she was not in the will, as he owned 'everything' and her deceased DH owned NOTHING.

The FIL told her to leave the services, or else he would expose her and her infidelity when he gave his son's eulogy. She quietly left the church without incident.

So why didn't we see Tom the whole episode?
Tom was seen early in the show, as one by one Lynette's family emerged from the rubble. He was the last one to emerge, and then the family had a big ole group hug.

sue_va - Victor got impaled by a picket fence board when he was fighting Carlos, who then got hit in the head by something (and I am guessing that is what made him go blind.)

I also wondered what ever happened to the cat! And I hate that they tease you, like what was written on that note. Will we ever find out? And I found it creepy that Bree would fix up her son with that contractor just to get her roof fixed. (I know it is just a TV show.) And it is amazing what you will find under beds, night stands, dressers once a year when you clean.

Well, maybe Lynette will find and adopt the cat, Tom will (understandably) feel rejected and maligned and will move out, taking a couple of the kids with him (perhaps they are predisposed to asthma), then Lynette will hook up with the contractor, who has come to realize that the gay lifestyle is not for him after all, and he'll move in with Lynette, where he can indulge his lifelong passion for housecleaning, during which he'll find a scrap of paper under the computer desk that reveals the secret fantasy life Lynette has been living with Mrs. McClusky.

This show is awesome! I just love it....I see it's not on again next week though. I hate to watch it all chopped up! Can't wait for this strike to be over. Brother's and sister is anothe rone I love...it's chopped up too. :O(

Oh, I think the answer is clear on that. Gabby will hook up with Victor's father. (Hey, he looks younger than his son.) After she lulls the father into a false sense of security by fulfilling his every desire (with great enthusiasm), causing him to put her in his will, the two of them will take a day trip to Sea World, where she will trip him with her mascara wand, causing him to fall into the shark tank.

Carlos, of course, will see none of this. :-)

I think we've seen the last of the new shows for this season even if they do settle the strike soon. I think we will have to wait until next season to find out what was in that note. It's getting real close to the time that this kind of show goes on hiatus if the time hasn't already passed. A gal on Letterman's show last night said she was going to Europe for two months. I think she meant that she thinks by then the strike will be over and they can start filming for next season. She is not on DHW but they did say last Sunday's show was the last one they have filmed.
