To see if a Ticor undermount stainless sink would fit, I just called the sink manufacturer and he said to add about 2 1/2" to the sink width to allow for mounting clips while the sink is being set into the granite. So a 15" sink requires 17 1/2" of clearance inside the cabinet - or an 18" cabinet. We are ordering a 30" sink for our 33" base cabinet. I would think a 33" sink would require a 36" base. Good luck - I can sympathise from your tko stress - so many details to work through!

Many of the apron front sinks are handmade, and they will vary in size. Your 33" sink might be 32 3/4" or it might be 33 1/4". It's NOT a matter of a particular installer being knowledgable enough to make a 33" fit in a 33" base, although I wouldn't want someone who didn't understand how to do it to touch it. You can't make a sink that's larger than the base it's intended to fit in fit in that base! Yes, you can shave down 1/8 of the adjacent cabinet's face frame if you absolutely need to, but that won't give the sink enough clearance with the door and drawer of that cabinet. And you've generally got a DW on the other side, so no room to shave anything. If you are interested in a handcrafted sink, it would be best to order the sink first to be 100% sure of the exact size of that particular sink, and then make sure that you have plenty of wiggle room if you need it for one that is slightly larger---just in case you break that one and have to replace it down the road.

"After installation, I noticed that all 4 support brackets are making contact with the sides of the sink, and don't touch the rim at all because they're too thick to clear the gap." It appears they are using Cinclips. If they aren't pushed all the way to the bottom of the sink flange, they aren't installed per manufacturer's installation instruction, per the video and written copy. If they aren't touching the sink flange, the sink isn't mechanically fastened and is destined for failure. Not if, when. Pull the Cinclips and the sink and install a Hercules Universal Sink Harness or a Sink Strap. Neither will have any clearance problems and you can stand in your sink when they're installed.

It is handmade, polished finish and holds up well against staining /rust. The sink measures 32"x19" edge to edge with inside dimension of 30"x17". Sink is 10" deep and heavy at 41lbs, so requires extra strapping or support blocks. You don't want to rely solely on the silicone seal or epoxied on clips. Will
