It's like American Idol I have it on for something to watch etc. Most of the time what the judges like and think is great is garbage to me but the characters are what makes the show I think,

Yeah, Michael really dropped the ball. Laura's collection was better than I was expecting--more variety with her look than I was led to believe. Uli's was fine I guess. Michael's? Some stuff kind of was pretty. I dunno. It was just a very disappointing experience. Don't know if I'll bother with next season. They're getting too close to jumping the shark. I hope Laura goes on to greater things or at least gets her stuff out there. Given an infinite amount of free time I'd like to go through the season and tally up the number of times people were criticized for making something that didn't look like "them" and the number of times they were criticized for making something that looked "predictable." But then I guess when you sign up for a "reality" show you're pretty much asking to be jerked around.

I saw that Kara showed for Fashion Week. I was surprised. And I did think she had the best collection out of them all. She probably did better because some of the pressure was off. Did they do that last season with the 4th finalist? I liked Diana the moment she said she read more science magazines than fashion. Too bad she couldn't pull it off any of her designs. I liked Santino, and I was really annoyed when they said that he wasn't flamboyant enough in his final collection-- after they spent the whole show beating him down. His take on Tim...OMG...that was hilarious. He does him well. Did you read any of that crazy Manolo site? You know, I expected Zulema to make it to the Final Four, but she really fizzled out quick. The "Walk Off" was really EVIL of her! I thought they lost one of the best models as a result of that. Evil Zulema. She doesn't NEED an alter-ego. She is her own evil twin...lol. (her bio says she is, or was a model...as a Jamaican-American, may I say, she needed to do something with her hair??? Braid it up, pull it back...anything!!-- hope I'm not being too rude. :-)

I LOVE this show. I've watched this show from the very first season it aired. Anyway, Christian is totally FIERCE! He's very talented and always amazes me with his creativity. Chris (I think that's the name of the chubby guy) - always suprises me with his designs, too. Just when you think he's gone too dramatic in his designs, he somehow manages to pull it all together. Sweet Pea's last outfit was terrible. Sorry. I just knew she was going to be booted off. As for Ricky, OMG, talk about drama! Every episode he was crying about something or another. I liked that he was close to his Mom, but that last design - a swimsuit - was awful. I liked his design with the jeans. Very sharp. I'm really rooting for Jillian. I just hope she can pull it altogether. Her little snips with Christian are hilarious - again, he's so FIERCE - but he's also, a little DIVA!! He's just so arrogant, but he cracks me up all the time with his plugs about how wonderful he is! I like Rami too, but enough of the draping. OK, we get it - he's really good at doing this, but its too predictable. He's going to have to design outside his comfort zone if he expects to win. Anyway, I love Tim, too with his motto, "Make it work". Too funny. Can't wait to see the finale.

I was surprised by the winner, but then again none of them stood out to me. Her audition pieces were really pretty so maybe they were remembering them. And in a way I was glad she won since Korina and some others were being so snarky about her from the get-go...took them down a few pegs and rightfully so. Keep your nasty comments about the other people's work to yourself...but I gues that makes for good ratings. Of the bottom 3 I think the right one went home....those high-waisted shorts were just awful....might have worked had he done a a regular loose-fitting pant instead.

My 26 year old daughter just loves the show and we watch it together. I was in New York City in early December and stopped into MOOD - the fabric store where the designers purchase their fabrics. I bought her one of the MOOD shopping bags for Christmas. She was thrilled. And a little Mood tape measure. You can also order them online but then you have to pay for shipping.

Some of the Joann's fabric stores (larger ones) also sell "Project Runway" themed things.

Thanks Ruthie!! I saw advertisements for it, but not dates. I am so looking forward to a new season. I've been watching Launch my Line, but I find the twin hosts very annoying. No one compares to Tim Gunn and Heidi Klum :)

Yep going to watch. Love it. I sew a bit, not much, used to sew more. I just amazes me what they do. And without a pattern! I have trouble just sewing in a zipper right. Made slacks once, was a waste of money. I did sew some mix and match cotton knit shirts and elastic waist pants that were ok.
