Please tell me the difference other than one is 6 core and one is dual core - And thank you all for your input! Thanks to westom for telling me about house protection. I am checking into that - I had my husband read your reply. Photo editing - I paint on canvas and photo them to put on the web. I rarely do any editing except for trimming, or making web ready. My new 14 MB Olympus camera produces large pics(20MB+) but not in RAW --or at least if it does I haven't found how to use it yet-:) I do take pics for resources for my paintings. I only mention so as to have enough memory for processing - which I haven't had any problems with as yet. Thanks!...See MoreWhich Washer/Dryer should I buy?
Comments (4)I just purchased the front loading KENMORE ELITE HE5t series washer & dryer. I had the original KENMORE ELITE and a Maytag Neptune. I LOVED the upper dryer of my Maytag. It was huge but had the top "dryer" that worked perfectly for sweaters and delicates. After several repairs the bottom regular dryer was starting to cost too much to repair so I gave in and splurged on a new one. It took a lot of searching and I ended up with Kenmore's from Sears. The pedestal units work great with this new batch...they don't vibrate. There are a lot more choices for laundry, as well. The washer and dryer drums are huge. I am still in heaven with the fact that my dryer is keeping pace with my washing machine...the clothes are drying so nicely. I still miss my Maytag UPPER dryer...but am learning to hang clothing again....See MoreHelp...Should I cancell Kenmore washer and dryer order?

SPEED QUEEN #AWS44NW--3.3 cu.ft. stainless steel tub--8 cycles--3 water temp. ect. washerman8--I wanted the model you have but it took too long for them to get it. If I need a 2nd rinse I'll just wash with no soap. Here is info on this model. Maybe by the time this machine dies the FLers will be more worry free. Comments (4)I'm not sure how many children you have, but I have four and I feel like have a lot of laundry. The machines I bought 3 years ago hold twice as much as the ones we replaced. The newer machines are also much more energy efficient and they take less time to complete a load. I have the largest, top load, LG units available and I've had no issues with them in the 3 years we've owned them. I can fit my king sized sheets and comforter in one load, I could barely fit my comforter in my old machine. As a result, I'm spending a lot less time doing laundry these days! I didn't go with front loaders as my experience with them hasn't been good. We temporarily left our permeant home for a work assignment and we bought front loaders to use. No matter what I did, the seal in the washer always smelled of mildew which I felt made the laundry smell as well. And I was diligent about wiping it out each time, sticking paper towels in the recessed seal between loads to absorb the access water and bleaching the area frequently, nothing helped. I have several friends who have front loaders now, who complain about the same issue....See Moreczechchick2
