This was posted on my Comcast page. I really like this show - it's different, edgy and intriguing. And now it's on hold while everyone fights over contracts adn $$. I hope they resolve this soon.

At Saturday night's Producer Guild Awards, "Mad Men"'s Emmy-winning creator Matthew Weiner expressed his frustration with his show's network (AMC) and producer (Lionsgate) to come to an agreement that would allow him to start writing the show's fifth season. Weiner doesn't even have a contract himself yet, and until all the parties wrap up negotiations a new season is on hold, if not in jeopardy. "I can't wait to come back to work," Weiner told Entertainment Weekly at the Producers Guild Awards, where the show was among the winners. "But the truth is I don't even know what their plans are. We have not started writing. I am not back at work. My contract expired. They are fighting over a very lucrative property, and who is going to pay for it to get made; it's one of the biggest perils of success everyone wants a piece of it now and they are fighting over who is gonna get the biggest chunk. Then they will come to me because talent is last. It would be heartbreaking for me if they don't work it out, horrifying really."
