Bought Speed Queen Washer and Dryer
Comments (3)Congratulations and enjoy the simplicity of doing laundry over again. We have the mid grade SQ TL (AWS51NW) and still appreciate it's virtues such uncomplicated settings, its washing ability, the way it never, I mean never gets un-balanced. It's also nice to know that it will not flash $$$ codes. Enjoy the start of a nice long relatively troublefree relationship....See MoreNeed Dryer Recommendations for Speed Queen Washer
Comments (17)mamapinky0 Can you give me a link to the SQ thread? I'll be more than happy to post there. I am still new to houzz, sorry. mrb6228 the max depth in my laundry closet is 31". With the dryer vent attached, I need at least 4" clearance in the back. Width isn't an issue. ci_lantro the dryerbox would be ideal but I am not able to tear down a wall to install this. My understanding is that's the only way it can be done. Am I correct? plllog I can't make modifications to my wall and it's not a new build. Right now I am just focusing on getting the SQ washer and will settle for a non SQ dryer. When I have more space, then I can get the SQ dryer....See MoreShould My Dryer Be Installed B4 My Speed Queen Washer?
Comments (3)It's a lot easier to install the dryer first so you have room to get back there to attach the venting. Otherwise, if you install the dryer at a later date, you'll probably have to move the SQ out of the way (esp. in your closet situation) and the SQ is a heavy beast...plus deal with the water hoses and drain hose on the washer....See MoreSpeed Queen Stackable Washer/Dryer Unit
