Good Wednesday Morning

Good morning, not a lot left of morning here. It sure is pretty outside today, but chilly. I emptied up the dishwasher and loaded it and now it is running. I cleaned a quart of strawberries I had bought last week, and there was not a bad berry in the bunch! I also baked a yellow cake from a mix and added french vanilla extract to it. That really smelled good while baking. I've had a quick lunch and will get ready in awhile to ride with Amber to take Angel to the vet about her eye. We are all hoping she has improved enough she won't have to go back for that! I will pick up some flea treatment for Izzi, she doesn't have fleas and I don't want her to have any. She could pick them up from the outside cats that think she is their best buddy and rub against her. It is another busy week it seems but good. How is your day going? I hope it is good too.

I'm in the process of making up a small hot dish for tomorrow. I want something I can just pop in the oven when iget home from the eye Dr. My eyes will be dilated, and hopefully cataract surgery will be scheduled for soon. Today I take Buster to the Vet for a look-see and get a written report for the Board of our APT house, that he is healthy and a neutered declawed kitty. It is kind of grey outside but supposed to get a little warmer than it has been. That will be so welcome. I'm also starting to knit a newsboy style cap for myself. I got the yarn yesterday at Walmart. My winter jacket is a different color, between a medium blue and a teal. The yarn I got is called Windsor blue that goes with it nicely. I also got some pretty beads in the same shade of blue/green to make a beaded hat band. You-all have a nice Wednesday. Dottie

Good day! Hit the pool for a great workout, then took a friend to lunch at an awesome Greek restaurant.

Yes you have plenty to do. Glad everyone is okay. Going to plant 6 tomato plants this afternoon. I'm in Long Island NY. It's only 55 and cloudy, supposed to be nicer this afternoon. First taking hubby grocery shopping, then to Walmart to maybe buy a new VCR. Our old one croaked. See ya later!

very slow starting... what i really need to do i don't want to..shampoo carpet...and do have a load of dh's work shirts to do...i do them seperately on a short cycle, so i don't have to iron...we found some really nice dress shirts at costco that are just as nice aa his old oxford cloth from kohls...who by the way, i've heard, arn't the same anymore... and need to write a thank you note to sil's gma..she was kind enough to send copy of photos of my dd and her dgs...will get that done for sure...

It was super nice and cool, with only 75 this morning. The ride to work was very enjoyable. After work, it was a different story. Hot 96, humid, the ride is uphill, granted not much, but in the heat it always feels worse. It topped out at 103 today here, in OKC. This afternoon, some puter work, some knitting, and some work out on the nordic track. Once again, I am hiding out indoors, trying to stay cool. Now I am peachy clean, and will watch til death, while I knit, and then off to bed. Really exciting day, LOL Moni PS, presently, 8:20 PM it is a "pleasant" 92 outside.....

Thanks Julia for the update on Fire on the Mountain. When we have 84 for a noon day temperature the weather people call it a "cold front", although the last week has been humid as heck, our temperatures have only been in the high 80's for the most part. We just had over 3 inches of rain over the week-end. The heat returns tomorrow.......I bought a new to me daylily based on your picture last year. When it opens (it has buds) I'll let you know how it does.............Maryl
