I did something dumb.

It all started yesterday. I was in the grocery store, grabbed a bootle of Gain off the shelf, paid and took it home. This morning I got up at seven, threw a load of towels in the wash and poured in some Gain. I noticed the bottle looked a little different than I was used to. Read it carefully, it's Gain Fabric Softener, not Gain laundry detergent. Since the load was already running, I didn't stop it. The water was on "hot" rinse "cold". I figure it will be okay, just this once, because there weren't any stains on the towels, and the fabric softener would make it all smell nice. Tell me, do you think this is a terrible thing? I considerd draining out the wash water and starting over, but I'm trying to keep my utility bills down. What's your opinion? Do you think my family will notice?
