Thought I would pop in with a update on my life....

We are still in OK...and B is just doing work around here...staying busy I miss the traveling but we now have 5 horses and 2 donkeys and so we need to take care of them.....but if a big job comes up we will do it and just hire Tanner to take care of the animals......Okay so Kasey has finally left Lee filed for divorce...she has good days and bad she still does not have the kids and is stiff fighting her addiction.....I pray everyday she over comes all this and becomes the person I know she can be!

Sydney got married over Christmas...yes our little Sydney is married....grown and married.....she and Cody (her boyfriend on an off since she was a sophmore) he is in the Army and we took him back yesterday to Ft. Leonard Wood he will be gone for 6 more wks then get his orders and she will move where he gets stationed....will post a pic.....

Dylan is graduated and working with Brian and loves surveying....he bought a truck an now a small 5th wheel and is doing great....

Tanner is a junior in high school and doing great continues to play in the Church band and choir at school....plays his music all the time......

I am now the crazy dog lady as over Christmas D was out shooting his gun a on dirt road and found a female weiner dog that was starving.....we have not found out who she belonged to or why she was out where she was....No houses where he was at....so we now have Holly! Eddie, Ivy, Boomer and Holly whew that is alot of pups! LOL Ookay going to see if I can remember to how to post a pic.....

Oh my gosh, Sydney is married?!?!? Wow! They look like a really cute couple! Glad to hear Kasey is divorcing Lee finally, and I hope she can overcome this demon and get her kids back. Sounds like the rest of you are doing great! Thanks for the update, I was recently wondering how you were. Check in more often!

Thanks everyone! I really do appreciate the support, hugs, prayers, etc. My niece is only 3 so this is not quite as hard on her.....right now. We talk a lot about her mom and dad both being in heaven. We looked at lots of pictures today that are going to be on the slideshow and she is excited every time she sees her mommy or daddy. My mom and stepdad came over today and we ordered the obituary and the program for the service. We wanted to set up a bank fund for the kids in the obituary but the bank said it would have to be approved and we would need a tax ID number and it would not be able to be completed by 3:00 today, which we needed. I just added that donations were being taken for the kids for education, through the family. My sister has already set up an education account after their mother died. My SIL is going to sing at the service and she does such a good job at it. It's funny sometimes when the tears come. Yesterday at the church the pastor's wife asked me if that was Erik's little girl and it just hit me. Today at the bank the banker asked about guardianship and that hit me too. I'll keep you posted and thanks again for the well wishes.

Hi kell0382 I've seen the cork floating floor used in a hunting cabin in your neck of the woods. When it comes to the big swings of temps/humidity cork can handle it SO LONG AS the gaps at the walls and the transition strips at doorways are observed. Cork floating floors are VERY dynamic. They LOVE to expand and contract which is why the 1/2" gap at the walls is super important in your situation. If you are worried that the temp swings are a big concern, the installer can use an adhesive on each of the click edges. The short edges being most important. If you are going to use the bead of glue on the edges, then ALL the edges of ALL the planks will need it. This makes sure the ENTIRE room will move as one unit instead of stressing just one or two joints. Talk to Anne at iCork (not the people at head office in Canada...I've heard they have ruined a few floors). Tell her that you sent a message to Stephanie her old colleague on the Houzz website. Get her to WALK YOU THROUGH the install. She's the one who helped the gentleman install cork in the hunting cabin (which is why I know about it). Ask her how that install is going. She helped put that floor in 5 years ago (or so). She gets feed back from that owner from time to time. And remember: Tasmanian Burl looses all the beautiful light brown colouring when exposed to sunlight. That's normal. That is to be expected. The 'black tiger strip' stays nice and crisp looking for the entire life of the floor. If you want to keep the darker colouring, then look at the Walnut Burlwood. The Mahogany Ripple will also loose 50-80% of it's colouring as well....but it should keep SOME of the colour after a year or two. Ask Anne about her experiences with fading. I know we have faded a few colours in our windows over the years and have come to different conclusions for each colour. If fading concerns you then a quick chat with Anne will help you find the floor that you want.

I can tell that some things are personal preference/taste and color seems to be just that as we can tell through all of the comments. ShadyWillowFarm, thank you. I have seen some beautiful homes with the "Correct color blue with reddish/brown brick" that do look beautiful. Also, agreeing with Patricia Coldwell, greens do a nice job with the brick too. So, I am getting samples of colors to try for the back wall and the shutters. The back wall is hardy board and the color on it appears to have too much yellow undertone which I have never liked. Once I figure out the backdrop color and the shutters that I will definitely be adding to the home, then the trim and the door should be easier to envision. My porch depth can get crowded easily so that is why there is no rail or boxing in. I personally am not a fan of all of the hanging baskets, on my home. However, once the garden, landscape and sidewalks are completed and a pot of flowers on each side of the steps; I think everything together will help complete the look with the painting and shutters. It may take me a while to get this right but I will. I appreciate all of your suggestions and time. I will come back to post the completed work. Any other suggestions until then I will consider as well.

Yes Kat Holly is wonderful!!! She looks great and fits right in...I will try and get some pics up soon of her she runs and plays now and fits right in.....

Hi Stacy, I see your postings from time to time on Facebook. It's crazy that Sydney is old enough to be married! I can't imagine having that many dogs, at least they are small ones. ( :

You sure have your hands full with all the animals, but it sounds like all things considered you are doing well.

Hi Stacy...so good to hear from you....

When I've "know" someone on here for over about 14 years...I really "miss" them when they disappear from my cyber life. It's like really missing someone I know and miss in real life.

We've been through a lot with you. The burning of your house was one...I remember a lot of us sent you Christmas decorations to start over with. When you got your new house built. When you decided to end the first marriage and rekindled old love with "B"

And all the ups and downs with your kids.

There are way too many people to follow them all on facebook...so I really do miss you here.

Stop back when you can to update us on life with you and your.

HI Matti and of course I am! Have the BH on right now!!! Love me the housewives and yes still as busy as usual lol but in a great way! My hubby is in Woodward OK til tomorrow so spent the day with Syd getting her hair done then we cooked dinner and now I am supposed to be cleaning but as you can see I am not! LOL!!!
