***Gee, without a photo, everyone is just guessing.*** Yeah, Cass, but really there's nothing to see but skinny naked canes. They're green except where the tips are brown with little bits of fried new growth. I doubt I could even take a well focused picture of them. I just didn't know why it would be happening over and over. Perhaps these Teas and Chinas are so tough they just don't know to lay down and rest a while until they recuperate. ***whenever I've seen fried baby leaves it's been due to a water uptake problem.*** Anita, this sounds logical. I assume transplant/root damage would be the cause of this? And as it recovers, this will improve? ***but since it is the same rose - and I don't think too many people got it - I thought that any input about it might be of some assistance.*** Funny you should say this, Laura. I had been drooling over MJP during the first Vintage sale because it is said to be a smaller Tea, but it wasn't on sale. When the second sale email came and she was on the cover of the sale catalog, I nearly fainted and couldn't get the Vintage site up fast enough! I just new rose lovers would see that bloom and buy out every single one before I could hit the "Submit" button. I sure hope she does well. Thank you all for all the input - very valuable stuff. I'll just pamper them for a while and trust that these tough little plants will pull through. I've got a spot now for Mutabilis so maybe he'll do better in the ground - unless I should wait for him to recover(?). The interesting thing about Mutabilis is that it came potted basically in pine bark fines and my watering all summer had washed out a good bit of it and left roots at the bottom of the pot exposed, but it still had leaves and even bloomed a bit. Then I put it in nice new soil and poof! He went into shock! Thanks again. Sherry

I am receiving email from other addresses so Yahoo is not sending everything addressed to me off to a spam file somewhere. It is just stuff from me addressed to me that is not delivered. Do I have a personal file or folder somewhere which says I do not want to receive email from this, i.e. my own, address?

Well when I searched by my name I found all of my threads gone even though they were less than a month old but some threads that were MUCH older were still there. Maybe someone went in and made a decision of what they thought was interesting. It is kind of aggravating because I was in the middle of my kitchen remodel and needed to ask questions and starting over seemed fruitless. I love this forum but it does need work! I would like to be able to look up my threads, if I forget to check the box to send me a response to go back later and get a response, to be able to be able to watch a thread, to be able to find my clippings easily and a lot more stuff. In other words it needs a major overhaul. I can not even find a way to provide feedback! Well thanks yall for letting me vent. I will be posting finished photos soon, for those of you who have been keeping up with my "budget" renovation. Thanks for the support. I got lots of ideas on here and my house will show it. I've been reading here for a long time. I came onboard shortly after one no longer had to worry about being sent to Disney for misbehaving. I have a "thing" for people who can't tell the difference between a fact vs. an opinion. I believe this is the cause of a lot of problems in our country. Way too many people can't tell the difference - and even worse, sometimes believe their opinions are actually facts, and it leads to all kinds of interesting stuff. Elmer, you are a very intelligent man. I agree with you more often than I disagree. I also hold you in high regard because I've never seen you confuse fact vs. opinion. I was secretly pleased when you changed your name because I was hoping there was something symbolic in giving up the old one. What I find interesting is that I have recurrently seen you shrug and walk away when someone posts something as a fact, which is in fact wrong. For whatever reason, the only time I've ever seen you take thinly-veiled shots at people is over opinions. Belittling people over a difference of opinion is the work of a facile mind. You are smarter than that. My one wish for the KT is that you would find it in your good graces to stop taking little jabs at people when you disagree with them on a subjective matter. You are intelligent enough to know this has nothing to do with the difference of opinion per se, but rather the way you express it.
