chicken soup question--lindac or anyone??

Work has been so hectic, I must take a shortcut in the chicken soup department for tonight's meal. I'm using canned broth that's doctored with veggies, some chicken wings and some homemade stock. For ease in prep, can I tie or secure the wings in some way so that I don't have to strain the soup before serving? It would be a great timesaver. I always slow simmer some raw chicken in the canned broth to give the soup depth of flavor.

Help-- can I use cheesecloth, if so how do i secure it during cooking?
