Cookie, I have been wanting to for years. I have sensitive skin so I am a bit afraid~~~2013 is the year I am going to do it!!! How long did it take?

I too have sensitive skin and of course, I had redness when it was done but gone within 1/2 hour afterwards. It took no longer than one hour. It is very gentle. Even when the put the ASA solution on - you don't feel a thing. Of course, the tempt you with the 50% RED light booth, the moisturizing kit, 50% off coupons for up to three more sessions. A girl can only take so much - (shame face) I took two more sessions at 50% off but passed on the rest (but didn't want to).
After one session, my pores have never looked better - ever! I wish I took a before picture so I can compare in three months after my session are done.

I used to get facials regularly. The lady that did mine recommends seasonal facial, say spring and fall for example... They felt just wonderful!.. Along with the facial I would get a neck, arm, hand, leg and foot massage to boot!, it was part of the facial.. It is very relaxing. Then I decided to go ahead and branch on out into some Microderm Abrasions. Oh my goodness... those are just wonderful!.. The first time you get a micro it's very mild, then each trip they increase the presure and abrasion. I never left the shop with a red or irritated face. Along with the Micro derm treatment you get the same other massages. My husband and daughter were the only people who knew I was getting the treatments but I had people telling me how nice my skin looked. My daughter and husband also told me, my daughter said mom.. I can tell a huge difference in the way your face looks and when my husband said "you get new makeup or something, cause your face looks really pretty" I knew it had to be true, he is not one to throw out compliments like that. I think everyone should paper themselves occasionally...also if you have never had a manicure or pedicure you should!...Those are also very relaxing, not to mention good for your feet. Where I go, it costs 35 for both, that's not bad at all and they have the most wonderful massage chairs at the pedicure bowls. My husbands asks me.. why in the world do you starch and iron my shirts and pants, just take them to the cleaners.. I tell him everytime I iron a shirt, you pay me instead of the cleaners... it's just in the form of a mani and pedi...So somebody, everybody.. go treat yourself!

For the past 10 years, I've have a standing appointment at a local Spa every other week, for manicure and pedicure. Every 4 weeks for eyebrows, and every 4 months for a facial.

I feel that, like a car, all women need more frequent and professional maintenance as we age.

Besides, i'm retired - and I have the time.

I am sure that I am the exception to the rule... but the very thought makes me cringe! I do like to have a pedicure, but hate the massaging part of it. I would prefer that they simply trim and paint my toes nails. I always turn the massage off on the chair.

I had my first ever micro dermabrasion today. I've had facials; the micro was a whole different ball game. It was very pleasant and she told me I had really good skin. I got a Clarisonic Mia face cleaner thing for Christmas and I am really loving that. The girl at the dermatologists office told me she leaves her Clarisonic in the shower and uses it there. Makes your face feel like a little baby's butt.
