Mustard, swiss cheese. Never mayo. Don't like mayo on ham or cheese.

If I had my druthers, I'd have it on a whole wheat bun, with a fried egg, lettuce and a little mayo. Can we say artery clogger?! But I only have that about once every 3 or 4 years.

Ham & Swiss on dark rye, with mayo and just a touch of mustard. Lettuce and tomato, also if the tomatoes are good. Every now and then, I'll put a thinly sliced dill pickle on a ham sandwich...that's good, also!

Has to be heated, on slightly toasted rye. Mayo only with lettuce NO TOMATO

Miracle whip and lettuce. Or sometimes just mustard.

Often it depends on the type of ham. If it's carved off a baked ham, especially if it's well done, I like it pretty much plain on a homemade bun or multigrain bun, occasionally toast and seldom anything else with it.

If it's deli ham, I like ranch dressing or salad dressing. Melted swiss or mozzarella goes great on a hot sandwich, and possibly grill the sandwich itself or serve on toast.

I like sandwiches a lot of different ways.

I see a lot of you like it the way I do. I like a nice heated ham sandwich with melty American cheese. I like a ham sandwich with Miracle Whip, lettuce and tomato, I like it with just mustard on it and I like it with creamy horseradish on it. The bread can be most any kind, but it must be soft. I do like it heated for the most part, but it being cold won't stop me from having one. Oh, darn, no ham in the house!

I love to drown it in mayo on wheat or white bread with maybe some lettuce and a piece of cheddar or american cheese!

A tiny bit of mayo, a tiny bit of Dijon mustard and a lettuce leaf, egg bread preferred.

A bit boring, I know, but my main interest is in tasting the ham.

The only way I can eat a ham sandwich is on toasted bread with freshly made HOT Coleman's mustard. Otherwise I avoid ham on sandwiches.

Rye bread, swiss and ham, a little mustard (yellow or grey poupon). No lettuce or tomato.

Either on rye with grey poupon and swiss or a touch of mayo with a bunch of horseradish.

On white toast, buttered and then spread generously with Miracle Whip. Add plenty of ham, a slice of Swiss cheese, thinly sliced red onion, fresh from the garden sliced tomato that is sprinkled generously with pepper, some alfalfa sprouts and sliced cucumbers. Cut into triangles, open sandwich and put some regular Lays potato chips on it, schmoosh it down and eat it.

But...maybe I need some Dukes Mayo on it too! :)

Mayonnaise, lettuce and tomato...maybe some slices of purple onion and a Claussen dill on the side. No cheese.

Ham & cheddar or provolone, on sourdough, toasted with mayo and a good spicy mustard. Dang, now I want lunch. Too bad I used up the last of the ham to make Corn Chowder last night.
