I finished it!

I finished my first afghan! It's not the first one I started but that one is about 3/4 of the way done!

DS and I found the Red Heart varigated camo yarn last winter. I made him a hat and a scarf. I had most of a skein left over and I decided to start an afghan for him. Well, I got just about finished with that skein and quit. I found it about a month ago behind the couch and started up again. I did a black strip about 6" wide and then did another skein of camo and thought I was done. Well, DS had other plans. He wanted to be able to cover up totally with this blanket so I did another 6" strip of black and another skein of camo. The blanket is long enough to cover me head to toe so it's great for a 6 year old! I finished the edge off with two rows of single crochet in black and then two rows of double crocehet. It's not as wide as I would have liked but he's so happy!

I can't believe I finally finished something that big!

Sorry, I wish I could share a pic but I have no way to do so...:( I just wanted to share the news!
