Me too Jinny. I love these I got saucers too. Now is a good time to shop garden centers they are marking stuff down to get rid of it. I am waiting for Lowes to half price Citrus trees. The bad part is I live 40 miles away from lowes and the garden center staff will not answer the phone when I call to check the price, if they do answer they have no clue what you are talking about. I have to just go check it out in person. Estate sales are good for Pots too....

Iris, are you in a rural area? We are, and our USPS driver is a contract carrier. If it doesn’t fit in the black mailbox by the road, we have to go to the post office and pick it up. No uniform and he drives his own vehicle. i don’t like that new delivery system Amazon is using. I think it’s called Amazon Flex and i have some security concerns. Are these drivers bonded? it’s one thing if your house is visible from the road, but another when it’s not. Our drivers are coming from another part of the county and they aren’t familiar with the area. One order was lost twice. The tracking said it had arrived at their location and was ready to be delivered. No package. A driver in an unmarked car drove around in our driveway and didn’t stop even when my husband tried to flag him down. Amazon apologized and gave me 1 month of free prime which I thought was nice. Good customer service over the phone. I finally got the item on the third try. Another time we got a phone call at 8:45 on a Sunday night. It was a call from a dispatcher telling us their driver was attempting to make a delivery but couldn’t find our house. We got the package okay, but i’m not comfortable with all these different drivers coming onto our property at all times of the day and night.

A word on Thermaworks: Yes, they warn against buying from Amazon or eBay, etc. But if you follow the Serious Eats link, they link to Thermaworks, NOT Amazon. And while the price in the article says $99 for the thermapen, when you actually click on it the 48 hour price is $74.24, which is a good price if you think thermapens live up to the hype. Which I don’t. I’m on my second, I do use it near daily and what can I say, they’re a digital thermometer. They’re accurate but 3 seconds is BS. Good but nothing special. Now the Smoke, that I love. Use it in the oven more than my grill. Just the other day I suggested to my wife that we buy one for her parents for Christmas and she agreed. So than you Sushi, you just saved me 25 bucks.

We are getting ready to go on a trip to Colorado and I've had some Keen sandal-type for years and I noticed when I went shopping the other day, they haven't changed the style at all.
