What Is Your Weather Like Today?

Our weather is damp, a bit foggy with some snow still on the ground. Cloudy and in the 30's right now. It is a good day to stay in and try to get some housework done, which I plan on doing. Hope your day is going well for all of you.

Very mild, 41 degrees right now, partly cloudy...good sleeping weather last night. Rain has passed.

Currently 44 degrees, sunny, blue skies, white fluffy clouds, and supposed to reach 60. I sure hope so.

Napping weather! LOL. Kids went back to school today, so the house was peaceful. We've had 2 inches of rain the last 24 hours, a very even rain, not too hard, but constant. So, with the quiet empty house, dark skies, the sound of the rain on the roof/windows, and in the background my dryer running... I've had a hard time keeping my eyes open today! For a while I just gave in and let myself recover from the last two weeks of chaos. ;o)

Here in my part of Ohio, it's currently 28Â° with about 2 inches of the white stuff on the ground. Only supposed to get up to low 40s, but the sun is out. That's always a plus for me. Shirley

Here just north of Pittsburgh, PA it has been mostly cloudy with occasional short spells of bright sunshine. Quite breezy making the mid 40's this mid afternoon seem more like upper 30's. I just went out and took a picture in the back yard to compare with this same date last year. Doesn't look like that there is going to be much color in this tree this year. The first pic was taken a year ago today. The second pic is about 10 minutes ago.

Currently sunny here near London, ON and has begun snowing in the past half hour. Temp. 18 degrees (-7 C.) Wind from the west at about 10 m.p.h.?? (15 km.?) ... but it feels cold: not sure of wind chill factor. Payday today: the two gov't. pension cheques arrived in the mailbox (slightly earlier than usual in Dec., before Christmas). Expecting more snow - they've been assuring us that we'll be having a white Christmas. It appears that this old (whatever) hasn't acclimatized to the season yet, as last evening after dark, en route home along what used to be a rural boundary road between two municipalities, I had a choice of travelling down what's a highway for about three miles, then along a fairly active rural road, or continuing along the boundary road, rather lightly travelled, for a fairly short distance, then along a fairly well used road, which was slightly closer. The snow plough was coming to meet me along the boundary road, which I chose ... and, keeping to the right to give him space ... ... I ran into a snowbank, about 100 feet from the corner ... and got stuck. The snowplough driver did his thing, clearing out the corner, waiting for traffic on the highway, then drove past me, stopped, dropped the wing that throws the snow far from the road, about 4 feet in front of my car ... ... and took off down the road, ploughing the snow. I had got out my shovel and dug some snow, this couch potato not appreciating the wind and the cold, and a guy in a red truck that had been waiting for the plo-ugh! offered to dig out his tow rope and give me a tow ... which offer I accepted with alacrity. It was a quick and easy tow to get me out, and I went my way. My neighbour agreed that my choice of road had not been the best ... ... and we agreed that it was probably due to the place where I got stuck being part of the city that caused me not to get help from the operator of the plough ... ...that had it been a county/rural plough operator, very likely he'd have hitched a chain on to my car and hauled me out. As I said on another thread this morning, "Too soon old - too late smart". During the time that I've been writing this message - the sun has disappeared, and snow is continuing, though a bit lighter at the moment. Mild- Sun is shining and we are hoping to get into the 60's today. I am going to haul out some baby plants from the garage and let them get some fresh air today!

Currently 33 degrees, heading for 40 ... Dense fog again, three days in a row now. It's been horrid! We had a 25-car pileup on the highway Saturday morning, visibility was so terrible. And it's predicted to be here through Tuesday.

"Today: Morning fog, afternoon sun, high 40" in my part of Ohio. I hope they're right about the afternoon sun. The sun almost always perks me up. About 90% of the snow has gone. I will be doing a little bit of cleaning here and there today. Have chicken breasts topped with stuffing in the crockpot right now.

Beautiful and balmy in northern Manitoba as well. Temps in the minus teens at night and going into the single digits during the day(Celsius of course). I should be doing some housework but with hoar frost on the trees(we had fog this am)and the comfortable temps for walking why stay in the house any longer than necessary.

Rain - rain and plenty of it!! Yippee!! We have 2 big storms coming our way and I love hearing the rain drops watering all my plants. The temps are in the mid to high 50's or low 60's. We need rain so badly I couldn't be happier!!

Today it was at least 45degrees......Celcius, which is about 113 Fahrenheit. Nasty.

It's 27Âº here at noon, and cloudy. I think the sun may come out a bit later, as it seems a bit brighter now. Hope so....I hate gloomy days.

It's 54 currently and raining, raining, raining. We're supposed to get rain maybe through next Sunday or longer. Yippee! We REALLY need it bad.

Right now it is sunny and 52Â° and should be the same tomorrow. Most of the snow is gone from the grassy areas, but the plowed piles may be here til July!

I'll take sunny and 52Â° any time I can get it.

Sunny and around 64 right now. Housecleaning must be the order of the day. I've cleaned the living room, Florida room, kitchen and guest bedroom. Tomorrow I'll do our bedroom and the 2 baths and screened porch. That leaves the dreaded garage--which I hate to clean!

One thing I do love is my Haan steam cleaner. No more backaches!

Not too cold, but it's pouring rain and a bit windy.

The Kingdom Day Parade is being held in spite of this, marching bands and all!

I'm cozy, at home, eating popcorn, watching the parade on TV and doing paperwork. Back on the job tomorrow, and it's supposed to be rainy all week.

It was cloudy and mild this morning but it's mostly clear, the sun is gorgeous and in the mid 30s. We're melting some snow today. Although supposedly we've reached today's high and in some spots surpassed it, I wouldn't be surprised to scratch & sniff at 40Â° at least someplace close by.

Rain,rain and more predicted for the whole week,also very windy here along the coast of S.Ca.We need it though so i'm not complaining.Besides it gives me another excuse to stay in,not that i need any.
