I have purchased several stephanotis floribunda over the years. They are usually sold in pots which have become too small for them so I put each in a larger pot not long after purchasing. Almost immediately, the leaves begin to become dull and flat (not shiny) and become kind of spotted (yellow and greenish-yellow). Then they become all yellow and fall off. With each attempt to make one of these plants survive, I have tried different strategies. Less water, to the point of dryness--same problem. More moist soil--same problem. Different soils--more peat, more perlite, less peat, whatever. Always the exact same situation. Each one was in a south facing window in Maryland, with normal indoor temperature. Humidity never below about 45%. I am not a clutz with plants. I have never had a plant which I have tried harder to please,and yet with more consistently baffling failure. Any thoughts, speculation, suggestions, or just plain pity would be welcome.

I think you could try a few, but I probably wouldn't make too many. A gift basket is something you can buy just about anywhere. Unless yours are unique or the Antique Mall gets a lot of traffic, you might get stuck with several at the end. I could be wrong, but that's just my perception after shopping at places like Antique malls. The are some basket ideas posted in the link below. I also came across a really cute basket of live plants. Ihis may not be something that is possible for you to have in your space. It'd be cute in a craft show. Thanks again, everyone. The goodies bags were a hit. I got them really cute little notebooks and mechanical pens, masks, mustaches, glow in the dark necklaces and one, plain Hershey bar. But I am actually writing to pass along a great idea. One of my daughter's class mates made up Valentines that were so cute. It was a little snack size bag of cereal (I think they are Golden Grahams). Stapled across the top was a label that said ,in script, "I cerealsly hope you have a Happy Valentine's Day". A clear plastic spoon was attached with a pink ribbon, and the child wrote the "to" and "from" names in pink marker. I loved it, and so did my DD.

Vap, I did look into Bolero. It is beautiful but I need to see about the heat wise. I am not sure but I think I am on borderline of zone according to Dave's garden. I will check later again.
