I know, I can not wait!

A friend jiust loaned me the first season; I have a dilemma now. I could set my tivo thing to tape the 2nd season and wait till I've gone through the 1st season to watch it. Or else I wait till I can buy the 2nd season in a dvd package.

Our broadcaster dropped it in Montreal; I'm definitely going to wait and buy the dvd's after the season is over. I could buy each new episode on ITunes,
it will be available after midnight of each broadcast. But since dh and I watch together, I'll wait.
I can't wait to start watching season 1, I've heard such good things about it.

I've never seen it. This is the third season? Wish the previous episodes were available online. No way I can just jump in now.

All you need to know is that the characters dressed nicely, drank and smoked a lot, some had affairs, men's and women's roles were extremely traditional, and oh yeah, it's about an ad agency back in the early 60s. This season starts with 1963.

I'm sending the kids to bed, so that we (me and DH) can watch it without any interruptions.

I watched the show and felt completely lost. Then I forgot about it last week. Few days ago a Cox cable supplement came in the mail. It had an article on the show and synopses of the main characters. That helped. I remembered it's on tonight. So here we go again.

My cable co has On Demand, so I can watch episodes without commercials. It has the entire season 2, and I'm a little bit lost, but catching up now that I've watched 3 episodes. I think I'm going to rent the 1st season on DVD, watch season 2 on the On Demand, then watch the new episodes as they come available OD.

I also started watching Drop Dead Diva, which is on Lifetime, also OD. LOVE IT!

And, now that I'm an OD fan, I get to watch Design Star, commercial free, whenever I want.

I don't have cable or sat. Watch Madmen on Amazon.com. You can download them, they have both first and second seasons. I do have TIVO for this. But we also decided to connect a computer to the TV. If you have the PC/TV connection it is easy. Can even use a laptop. It works well and there are a number of other sites at no charge that you can do this with. TV channels are also getting better and let you download shows at no cost.

From what I've seen of the first two episodes of season 3, there isn't a lot missed in the scheme of the story. You may be fine watching now and picking up the other seasons for getting to know the characters. Obviously I'm hooked on this show too. Also watching Design star on Lifetime by downloading free.

I might try it on amazon; drats, I've been downloading season 3 merrily on ITunes and last sunday's episode Grown Ups has a glitch, you only hear the background noises, no actor voices, the mac forums have confirmed this, it's not only me.

I can't believe how much don draper sleeps around, lol.........

Mitch...go to Hulu.com. They have free episodes. I was using Amazon too, but it was getting expensive. And yes, Don has a problem. Were it today I'd be concerned about "what" he was bringing home to his wife. Or maybe there will be a 60s take on this one in some near episode.

Good to know about Hulu.com. I need to see the 3rd season also. I know it's a movie, but, don't you think it is weird how Betty is so cold to her children? Really bugs me. I love how there is something about each character and trying to analyze them though. I really like the show.

Heads up; season finale is tonight, I watch it from ITunes, so I'll see it tomorrow since the download is available after midnight.

You would think they could do more than 13 episodes, sheesh.

I gave up on MM ... too hard to get into not having seen previous seasons. Do want to say thanks for mentioning Hulu! I found a couple episodes from season 5 of Lost on there that I'd never seen.

I have been a fan of this show since the beginning.

It just gets better, although the storylines are fast moving. Jon Hamm and January Jones' performances when he divulged his past were top notch.

I haven't seen the finale , I am downloading it right now; I googled and found this site that has amazing pictures of Don and Betty, her dresses are so gorgeous; she must be a size 2 so that helps.
