My Wild Irish Roast

I got home and was anxious to get St. Paddy's dinner going. Then I realized that the beef I corned was not ready in the sous vide cooker. It needed a few more hours of cooking. I had to make last minute changes for the dinner menu.

I checked my other sous vide cooker. A chuck of top round roast was perfectly done.

I gathered up some seasonings, a wild combination of spices (wasabi?), poured a bottle of McMahon's Ale and made some "Irish" gravy. The top round roast was very tender, and deliciously beefy as it should be with sous vide.

Why not? Corned beef is not exactly authentic Irish anyway.

I will post my corned beef meal tomorrow.

Have a great St. Patrick's Day everyone.
