Just ignore facebook and your account will disappear eventually. What are you so worried about? FB is no more dangerous to you or your computer than this forum is, or spam that comes to your email inbox that you don't open. Do you delete your cookies after every session on the internet?

Judy, click on the little square in the upper right corner of you browser, left of the red X. That will maximize your window and make it fit properly on your desktop. Once you do that, check to see if you can click on the Help in Facebook.

If you click "settings" on the blue bar (in Facebook, top right, by your name), go to your account settings and there's an option to deactivate your account.

I have already been deactivated, but I don't use it and would like to be sure it is removed from their listings or whatever they do with it.

Jodi, I tried that, but it is still showing just the very tops of the letters in that row. I tried clicking on those bits of the letters, but it is just not enough to make the connection.

I got it!

I changed the page so it was not full screen. Then I pushed it up as far as I could and then stretched it down. I was then able to find the HELP word.

I found facebook to be very complicated and those I care to "talk" to, I would rather just email.
