This is when I start digging a little deeper into some of the cable stations. I watched some show about families in Alaska and loved it. The guys had unusual names like Atz and Etienne. It was sort of a reality show in that is really followed these families. I also have found some great shows on the Smithsonian channel. But I agree that all the reruns are enough to make you unplug the damn tv. Downton Abbey has been a saving grace. Tonight I watched the first episode of Luck, a new series on HBO about horse racing, with Dustin Hoffman. It was good. I also saw the first episode of a new show called Smash and it looks hopeful. It's described as Glee for grownups. We'll see.

I also suggest seeing if you can get the DVD's. We missed a lot of the 1st season; hubby bought it for me on DVD.. wow, talk about being spoiled. It was awesome. I don't know if there is a way for me to burn it and upload online to share; I would gladly do it if I could.. I'm sure it's illegal. lol If you watch Grey's; you have to watch Private Practice too because you might miss something, like last season when Addison's brother had the brain thing and Derrick had to fix it. The men on Private Practice are also hunks. It's a great show, last season we liked it better the GA.

My thoughts... I hope they DON'T bring Dr. Burke back. I think Yang will continue to blossom without him. She rocked in that surgery (and hubs and I both hooted and hollared when she told Dr. Hahn to just "shut up" and let her work)! I cannot wrap my head around Dr. Sloan (McSteamy) and Dr. Torres together - ever. In my opinion there is no chemistry there whatsoever. I do not like Dr. Hahn. The actress (Brooke Smith) was on the final season of Crossing Jordan and her personality/characterization was exactly the same. They could get rid of her and the show would be better for it. I love Bailey! They should feature this character more.

MrsMarv, I don't think your post is a spoiler, there have been commercials all week about the season finale showing the guy up to his neck in cement. I'm glad you mentioned it, I will be sure to check out the questionable commercial when it comes on instead of running to the kitchen to check one more time if anything tasty has materialized in the fridge. :-) Jodi-
