Irish whiskey substitute?

For St. Paddy's day, I am making Guiness chocolate cupcakes with an Irish whiskey ganache filling and a Bailey's Irish cream frosting (my blood alcohol level went up just typing that!)

The chocolate ganache filling only calls for 1 - 2 teaspoons of Irish whiskey. I have many forms of alcohol, but not Irish whiskey. I don't want to buy a bottle of Irish whiskey for such a teeny amount. What would be a good substitute? Scotch? Wild Turkey? Brandy? Something else?

Because it is a long and slightly complicated recipe, I am not copying in the message. Below is a link.
