I bought that German editor at Best Buy, go figure. I have built many websites over the years, but never one of my own for fun. They were mostly for organizations like Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Crimestopper, Chamber of Commerce, etc., all local. Mostly for free. My son's laptop bit the dust (2 months old) and it took them a month to get it fixed, luckily I backed everything up before I let him take it to college, so the only thing I really lost was the Microsoft Front Page Program, I have the update disk on FP III, just not the original and it won't work unless I have the Microsoft Frontpage, Edition 1, and it's no longer available, I'm going to try Coffee Cup and see how I like it.

The same applies to the 'isolation rooms' used to allow practice for musical instrument players. It can approach painfully load in the room with no noise audible on the outside. HA. As a semi-professional saxophonist and former music major in college, I've spent an inordinate amount of time in practice rooms. Even the good ones are far from soundproof. Yes, the sound is reduced, but you still can tell the instrument (or voice) being practiced in the next room. Recording studios spend vast sums preventing sound bleed (consider the drum booth), but few homeowners would go to that extreme. Sound dampening is a more realistic goal. I gather that it is too late to reconfigure your floor plan for separation of these rooms, but in addition to earlier suggestions, I would consider where your theater system components are located and the direction speakers are aimed, ways of preventing vibration (especially for the laundry, and sound absorption through your choice of carpets, curtains and furniture. Not that you would want to do this in your beautiful home, but many music students in college towns set up practice rooms in their rented houses and apartments and avoid neighbor complaints by hanging blankets, rugs, and eggcrate mattress pads on their walls. Ugly as sin, but it is a good example of how effective sound absorption can be.

Thanks for the response Pee Wee. I completely disconnected the cable box and still have no sound on the TV. Even when using the standard reception and getting static stations, there is no sound. Does the TV have a sound tuner/card like a computer can? I'm wondering if there is a method of holding down buttons to reset the original default setup. Any ideas anyone? Thanks in advance,

You need to look at what is allowed by the manufacturer under the particular LVP you plan to use or you may have real issues with the product and zero warranty.
